"Okay! Okay!" Armen yelled at the breakfast table. "We'll be getting the tree today!"

The table members all glared at him.

"Good!" Drake exclaimed. "It's been way too long now!"

"Seriously though." Audrey grumbled. "It's the freaking twelfth. We should have gotten it ages ago!"

"Ugh! I agreed! Okay?!" Armen screamed. "We're doing it today!"

"When! When?" Brisk called out happily.

"In twenty minutes from now, so let's eat!" Armen growled, then promptly stuffed his face with a bagel.

Soon, the group was all dressed, and ready to go.

"Uh.... Just one question though." Luna pointed out. "Won't people freak out when they see me, Drake, Scarlett and Courage? I don't know if the public is used to hybrids..."

Courage flicked her wolf tail. "Eh, it'll be fiiiiine...."

It was not fine.

People went screaming everywhere, and chased them off using pitchforks and torches.

Luckily the pitchfork and torch store was having a sale that day.

So they tried again, this time making Courage wear a long fur coat around her waist, plus a hat, Drake a scarf wound around his neck, and same with Luna and Scarlett.

They were quite the odd group, but they managed to get past security just fine...

Audrey and Courage made quite the team beating up those entrance administrators.

So, they were in.

"I think we should pick the greenest tree here!" Mia exclaimed. "And that one over there looks the greenest!"

"No, THAT one is!" Grayson argues, pointing at a striking tree in the second row.

"Guys.... please..." Audrey smirked. "We obviously need to get that red one over there! Ooh! Or maybe that black one!"

"Yeah!" Herobrine exclaimed. "Or maybe that dead one over there!"

"Oooh! Yes!" Audrey clapped her hands together.

They walked off.

"I think we should get the tallest!" Drew smiled. "We don't have all that empty space for nothing!"

"What about that blue one over there?" Brisk asks. "I think my dragon likes it!"

"Why don't we all get a small one to put in our rooms...." Drake suggested, "And one big one for near the fireplace?"

"Yeah!" They all exclaimed. (Audrey and Herobrine doing so from the fifth row down)

And that's what they did.

But there was still conflict on the main tree.

"The biggest!"

"The tallest!"

"The largest!"

"The Christmasiest!"

"The reddest!"

"The supa-mecha-awesomest!"

Drake was staring at a few ornaments in a shop window nearby, when Scarlett approached.

"What are you doing?" She asked shyly, her hands kneading behind her back.

"Oh, just... I saw these ornaments and I thought I would get one for each person." Drake mentioned idly. "You know, for the tree."
