"So... how's the house progressing?" Drake appeared next to Courage, looking a bit shaken up.
"Oh, just fine! But I would suggest you guys stop hanging around and start seriously thinking about the fact that there are only five days left until Christmas." Courage suggested. "Did everyone get their shopping done?"
"Pretty much. We might need to ask a few people to buy gifts and receive gifts for Sammy." Drake pointed out.
"By the way, how is Sammy doing?" Courage asked.
"Eh, he should be fine in a few hours." Drake shrugged.
"Okay. Now, can you help me get this wood beam back into place?"
"Okay."
They worked for a while, placing the last few touches on the house.
"Should we call everyone back now, or wait until all the furniture is fixed?" Courage asked, her wolf ears twitching. She landed back down on the ground, having just been lifting a bit of broken ceiling back into place.
"Well, the second floor seems to be fine, and it's pretty cold out there." Drake admitted. "But I think we should wait until Sammy recovers. He might go all rampagey killer destructo again, before he's fully healed."
"Okay." Courage nodded. "We'll keep on doing what we can. In the meantime, try to enjoy yourselves. It's almost Christmas, as I said earlier, and we won't be sticking around for much longer. So try to have fun on your last few days."
"Yeah." Drake sighed. "It's a shame, really."
"Actually...." A voice piped up.
They pair turned around to find Amber looking at them, occasionally glancing down at her phone.
"Apparently the people who read this book have convinced Dream to make a Haunted Holidays book. So any OCs who want to stay in can join the Haunted crew throughout the many holidays of the year!"
"4th wall..." Drake muttered. "It's too broken to fix now..."
"Yup." Courage nodded. "Now, I'm gonna get back to reconstructing the house now."
Courage dashed off, spreading her wings and flying as she did so.
She took a hammer and started banging a nail into the side of a board to make it more stable.

Kyah ran through the woods in a fox pup form.
She had just been sleeping over at a fox's den for the night. She hoped the rest of her friends were not worried about her, but she needed some space.
Foxes were actually pretty nice creatures, with good conversation. She had picked up some tips for hunting and such from them. Not like she could ever bring herself to slay a creature, however, especially not if needed.
She reached the clearing, and morphed back into her human form.
"Hi Kyah!" Armen waved, smiling.
Kyah gave him a small wave back, but couldn't meet his eyes.
She sighed.

Luna popped up behind Drake, smiling as she did.
"Hi Drake!" She exclaimed, wrapping her arms around the hybrid.
"Hey Luna!" Drake grinned, turning around.
"How are you?" She asked. "I feel like I haven't seen you lately!"
"Well, with the house repairs and all, I haven't really seen anyone other than Eve and Courage! Herobrine and CrystalMoonlight like to keep to themselves."
"Yeah, they're kind of a weird pair of siblings." Luna agreed. "So, how's that going? The repairs I mean."
"Oh, pretty well, although we're gonna wait for Sammy to recover before we move back in.
"Cool! Do you wanna take a walk?"
"Sure!"
The two walked out of camp, leaving the clearing empty other than Scarlett and Luke. The others were inside the trailer.
"Yo." Luke said awkwardly.
"Hi." Scarlett replied.
"Grrrr..." Darrick growled from afar.
"So... are you getting sick of that dude following you around?" Luke asked, glancing over at the place Darrick was hiding.
"What?!" Scarlett gasped. "How did you know he was there?!"
"I'm an assassin." Luke shrugged. "Being aware of my surroundings is in the job description. I'm not gonna make him come out, but, if he wants to, there's no one around."
Darrick contemplated this for a second, before slowly revealing himself.
"So... are you trying to protect Scarlett?" Luke asked. "Because I kinda get that vibe."
The figure remained silent for a minute, before slowly nodding.
"Huh... Are you two in a relationship or..."
"No!!!" Scarlett exclaimed. "No! Definitely not!"
Darrick's face turned the same color as his scarf. His gaze seemed to burn right through Luke, and he got ready to attack.
"Sorry! Sorry!" Luke shouted out, looking afraid. "I didn't know! Just... please don't punch!"
Darrick sighed, and lowered his fist.
He glanced over to his right as the trailer opened, and flipped away into the dark.
"What a weird guy." Luke muttered.
"Yeah." Scarlett agreed. "He's pretty annoying as well."
*******
Drake and Luna found another clearing, where a small ray of sunlight shone through the tree canopy, making the snow glitter.
"This is a nice spot!" Luna smiled. "Maybe we should have a picnic here sometime!"
"Like, alone, or with-"
"With the group, silly!" Luna grinned.
"Oh, yeah!" Drake exclaimed.
"So... Drake, later... like, when Christmas is over... I was wondering if maybe you wanted to-"
And Herobrine appeared in between the two of them.
"Just thought I'd let you know that the house is ready for buisness." He said dryly. "And yes, I totally did this so I could stop this new ship from being born."
And Herobrine ran off laughing.
"GET HIM!!!!" Drake yelled, his and Luna's faces completely red.
And that is what they did.
