A Very Haunted Christmas

Day Twenty-Five

Everyone woke up at the exact same time that morning, and ran down the stairs...

At the exact same time.

So you can imagine the kind of problems it caused.

There were several injuries.

But they all got down relatively in one piece.

They all sat down by the Christmas tree, and came up with a system.

"Each one of us can go one at a time." Grayson decided. "That way we can each appreciate each gift just as much!"

So first up; Scarlett.

Scarlett found her four gifts relatively quickly, and placed them all on the ground before her.

She opened the first gift, which was from Kyah.

She pulled out a beautiful silver locket with a shimmering red ruby in the middle.

"It.... It's beautiful." She gasped, placing it around her neck.

"It... It gives you a stamina boost whenever you put it on." Kyah said shyly.

"Wow..." Scarlett whispered. "Thank you!"

Scarlett then opened the gift from Eve.

Eve had given her two plushies, one of an enderdragon, and another of an enderman.

Scarlett turned a slight pink for a second.

Does she know...?

She glanced over at Eve, who gave her a wink.

Yeah... She knows.

"Thank you." She grinned, managing to keep her cool.

She then moved on to Audrey's gift.

She took out a little charm bracelet, with one single charm on it; an enderman.

"You're supposed to fill it with all of your upcoming adventures." Audrey explained, with a smile.

"Oh Audrey... This is amazing." Scarlett murmured.

Then the last one; Drake's gift.

She opened it up to find a beautiful scintillating silver brooch, with a giant red stone.

Engraved in small writing was

I Wish You The Best! Hope To See You Soon!

Scarlett smiled, her eyes starting to water.

"Thanks, Drake." She smiled.

"Well...." The Mage smiled back at her. "I don't know when we're gonna see each other again, so, consider this a memoir."

Scarlett placed it into her shirt, making sure it was straight.

Then she made way, as it was Audrey's turn to unwrap her gifts.

First, it was Eve's gift, and Audrey unwrapped.... A dead tree.

"Push the button." Eve grinned.

Audrey pressed it, and the bush burst into flames, and then extinguished.

"This..." Audrey grinned. "Is beautiful, thank you!"

"No prob!" Eve flashed her the thumbs up. "I knew you'd like it!"

Audrey also received a 25 dollar Visa gift card as well.

Audrey continued onto Amber's gift, which was a golden choker with an orange stone.
