Drew woke up from a pretty restless sleep to find the little dragon baby standing over him.
He yelped, and leaped up from bed.
He heard laughter from the other side of the room, and saw Brisk rolling on the floor.
"I'm sorry." He grinned, as his dragon leaped onto his arm. "It's just.... That always tickles my funny bone."
"You have a very odd sense of humour." Drew replied drily, going over to the bathroom to brush his teeth.
"Aw come on..." Brisk smiled.
"What are you doing here, Brisk?" Drew grumbled, before starting to brush.
"I was just wondering if you wanted to do something today." Brisk said evenly, regaining control of his behaviour.
"Thwai shwood Igb Wanth thoo dho sthanyphung thwigth thou?" (Translation: Why would I want to do anything with you?) Drew grumbled, before spitting in the sink.
"Eh, because I don't really see you as a social kind of guy." Brisk shrugged. "And I thought you would want to have a day out."
"I am a perfectly social guy!" Drew exclaimed. "I just... I feel like we're intruding on those guys sometimes."
"Then why not come with me?" Brisk asked, his expression not as genuine as Drew would have liked, but he saw the sense in it.
"Sure... Drew said. "I guess it couldn't hurt..."
"What are you two doing?" A voice asked from the doorway.
The pair turned around to find Amber staring at them, a semi curious, semi concerned look on her face.
"It's just... She continued. "I heard what sounded like a wounded narwhal's mating call coming from this room."
"Oh... That would have been Drew." Brisk cracked a smile. "And I'd say you got his reaction straight on!"
"Thanks... I try..." She responded sarcastically. "So, what are you doing?"
"Oh, we were planning on having a day out, do you want to come?" Drew asked.
"No!" Brisk exclaimed. "No girls allowed! What's wrong with you?"
"I'm trying to be courteous!" Drew hissed.
"Uh... Are you two okay?" Amber raised her eyebrow. "And to answer your question Drew, I'd like to, but if it's too much for your friend here..." She nodded towards Brisk. "I'm perfectly fine with not going."
"Nah, he'll get over it." Drew shrugged. "Meet us downstairs in ten!"
"Okay." Amber replied, and strode out of the premises.
"Why'd you do that man?" Brisk demanded. "I thought we were having our own day out! Boys day! The event of the season! The times we spe-"
"I don't know if you have any idea what you're saying." Drew cut him off. "And I was trying to be nice."
"Ugh..." Brisk grumbled, knowing he was fighting a losing battle. "Fine, but if she does anything..."
"She's not going to." Drew growled. "And... Brisk... Try to treat her like just another human being... Because she is."
And he shoved Brisk out of the room.
Ten minutes later;
"So.... We shouldn't expect you back for dinner?" Armen asked them. "Not at all?"
"Nope!" Brisk smiled. "We'll be eating at the most extravagant restaurant out there!"
"We'll be ordering McDonalds and then going to a movie." Drew corrected him.
"Same thing!" Brisk snarled. "McDonalds in the best!"
"Can we go already?" Amber asked. "I don't want to keep her waiting."
"Who?" Drew asked.
"Oh, I invited my friend over." Amber shrugged. "One more is fine with you guys, right?"
"Yeah!" Drew answered quickly, muffling Brisk's "No!" With a mittened hand.
"Okay." Amber answered in relief. "Thanks. She's gonna wait for us at the ice rink."
"Okay!" Drew said, pushing his glove further up agains Brisk's mouth. (Who was now yelling and screaming) "Sounds great!"
"Cool." Amber shot him the thumbs up. "I'll be in the front yard."
"She's paying for her friend." Brisk muttered as the door closed.
"Yeah, sure." Drew replied.
"I'm still here guys...." Armen pointed out.
"Oh.... Uh..." Drew muttered. "We'll be going now! Bye!"
And they zoomed out the door.
At the ice rink, they were introduced to Courage, who apparently would also be staying over for the holidays, saying she could fix the burnt rooms faster than any repairman (or woman) could.
And their evening consisted of many good memories such as...
Brisk falling on his butt while skating.
Courage pummelling anyone who teased her by saying she should be wearing figure skates instead of hockey skates.
Amber trying to calm all the complainers who claimed Drew had stolen their cookies. (He had)
And most memorable of all....
Brisk throwing up all of his McDonalds when (MOCKINGJAY PART TWO SPOILER!!!) Katniss shot President Coin instead of President Snow.
And they all went home sick to their stomachs.
And Drake (who had gotten significantly better) got all of the leftover McDonalds.
They all lived happily ever after.
(Herobrine got to keep the Rainbow Dash collectible soda can that they bought at the theatres)
No A/N today.... But just to let you know TheDarkEpress.... Scarlett was really happy when Drake got better. :3 Even thought she might try to deny it. Bai! ~Dream
