Chapter 4:

Sorry I haven't been updating alot of stuff has been going on since the end of the fall semester is coming so I have been busy with school and I have an art project that is going to be entered into a competition

But anyway vote and favorite and please comment I would love to hear some criticism

I ignored Jason and went to the bathroom to take a shower. When I got back I looked at my phone to see he sent me five more texts, hey Scar please talk to me I miss being friends.

Scar answer me!

Are you mad about Tracy? I can talk to her if you want

Do you think we can talk I really want to talk to you.

Jason had the nerve to say these things considering what has happened. I pick up my phone to reply when it rings to show him in his football helmet. Picking up I put the phone to my ear " what do want" it's silent " I want to be friends again" Jason answers " you have ruined that chance when you pushed me away" silence " and I think if we start seeing each other again it's only going to end the same way with Tracy like it did with Brittany" " no it won't Tracy wouldn't do that" he quickly replied with a hint of anger in his voice " oh really the just today she threatened me" he went silent again " just leave me alone okay especially if you don't want me to get hurt.... Or worse" I choked on the last two words and hang up. Slipping into some pajamas I crawled into bed letting the darkness envelop me.

The next day at school I sat at my desk waiting for Daniella, " hey Scarlet I wanted to talk to you so" I looked up at Jason who seemed to be nervous " go away Jason I already told you I want nothing to do with you" I return my gaze to the window " Scar please let me explain" I hear him sit next to me " I don't want to hear your excuses so please go to your own seat" he sighs and walks away " what was that about" Daniella sinks into her desk " he suddenly wants to start talking again" I turn my attention to her " hell he's a-" "DANIELLA" I stop her with a smile on my face " hey it's what I think and I don't care who listens" she shrugs. We kept talking until class started which was boring like it always is, " so what are you going to do English, I shrug " maybe I can get Caine to sit next to me" I walk into my next class. The rest of the day went by smoothly, until I got to English " hey Caine why don't you come sit with me" I wave Caine down " umm doesn't Jason sit here" he hesitantly sat in the desk next to me " not anymore and plus I want to talk to you get to know you a little better" I smile at him " umm sure alright" he relaxed and then Jason walks in " Caine you're in my seat" we both look at him " no you sit over there where Caine used to sit" I point to the desk sitting a few rows away from me " so if you could go sit in your new seat" I told him with attitude " fine" he mumbled " wow I never seen him follow someone else's orders besides the coach's" Cain said surprised. The class need and that was it, I left the school picked up my brother and went home.

Saturday, I go out with my friends and goof off till we pass out at one of our houses. I got dressed in a tank with a plaid green jacket, with my black been in and converse. I drove to each of my friends houses and picked them up and we all drove to the mall " what are we even going to do at the mall" ask glancing at Daniella " watch and talk about people and maybe shop a little" she answers not even looking away from her phone " what so this is why I'm here huh" Justin says from the back seat " well yeah if we are going to shop then we need a pack mule" Daniella states causing me and Brittany to laugh. Fifteen minutes later we were in the mall going into store after store browsing and buying things in every other store until noon where we ended up sitting at a table in the food court laughing at people when someone caught our attention " hey in that sports shop is that Cain and Jason" Daniella points to a shop across from the food court " yeah I think it is let's go and see what they do" Justin stand leading us over to the store " well I might as well look around" I mumble as I enter glancing over at some running shoes " hey Scarlet I didn't know you ran" I look to my right to see Cain in a referee uniform "no I mean yes but not as often that I should be" he chuckles "I'm only here with my friends" I gesture to the others who are messing with Jason " yeah it looks like they are giving him a hard time over there huh" I nod and continue looking at the shoes " sooo" Cain said rubbing his neck " would you be willing to you know umm stay until my shift is over and we can hang out" my eyes widen at his question " I would love that" I giggled at him for his shyness. " look he just asked her out" Brittany whispered loud enough for the group to hear her " yeah and what are you doing here talking to us and Cain is over there stealing your girl" Daniella says with a smirk " you guys are trying to get me to dump Tracy and get together with Scarlet" he crossed his arms " look Jason if you stay with Tracy and hang out with Scarlet you are only going to hurt Scar more than you want to" Justin paused " so if you really like Scarlet just dump Tracy and ask Scar out or just forget about her and leave her alone" Jason just stares at Justin then glances at the two flirting figures on the other side of the store. Sighing he looks at the others " fine I will leave her alone" the others shocked at his answer exchanged glances " you jerk" Daniella slaps Jason and storms out of the shop. "whoa Jason pissed Daniella off" Cain nods " well I guess I will see you later alright" I say good bye to Cain and run off after my friends. " hey what happened" as I caught up to the others Daniella was sitting on the bench and Justin and Brittany standing over her " well..." Justin trailed off " we tried to convince Jason to dump Tracy and ask you out but he chose the evil side" I look at the other two who nodded in agreement " why would you do that" I ask them " well you seemed happy with him and we all wanted that again for you but it seems Jason prooved us wrong" thinking over their statement I finally open mouth " so y'all thought he would chose me over Tracy" they all nodded I rolled my eyes but I heard my name being called " Scarlet hey I'm done ready to go" Cain comes running from the shop with the cloths he was wearing at school " yeah let's go.. I'll see you guys later" I meet Cain half way toward me and wave to my friends.
