I got home with my brother and spent the rest of the day relaxing and trying to forget about Jason. I fell asleep while I was finishing up some homework at my desk. The next morning I got up and went through my routine and drove me and my brother to school, at school Josh and Aiden were the first ones to greet me " hey Scar, Josh told me what happened are you alright" I chuckle " yeah I'm fine just had to deal with a douche from my old school no worries" Josh just gives me a sad look " what is there something on my face" I ask touching my cheek " no it's just that guy still hasn't given up what if he starts following you everywhere" he asks concerned for my well being " don't worry about Josh... I do hate that guy but I know him well enough that he won't threaten me or anything" I reassure him " alright but I will keep an eye out for him" he states " oh there is my sweet Aiden" Andrew comes rushing towards us " ugh please Andrew stop with the nicknames" Aiden complains " oh come on now we are dating now and I want to give you a name that will make you shiver" Andrew says seductively " please stop the flirting it's making me sick" I gage " what don't you like seeing your friends in love" Andrew gives me a pouty face " it's not that is't just I'm sick of lovey dovey couples" Andrew still seemed confused " ugh I had a bad relationship not too long ago so I get all grumpy when something like that is brought up" I slouch " oh okay well maybe I can get hook you up with a friend of mine" Andrew nudges a blushing Josh " please don't I want to take a break from dating alright" I sigh. The subject was dropped and we all went to our first class " hey so about what Andrew was talking about" Josh mentions " Josh please I don't want to talk about this-" I was interrupted " I wanted to ask you this for awhile but do you think we can go out this weekend" Josh scratches the back of his neck with a slight blush on his cheeks " Josh..." I was shocked, when I looked around I heard people whispering and snickering " aww isn't that cute" " Josh has never asked a girl out... she must be really close to him" I felt bad knowing that if I rejected him that he will be heartbroken and everyone in class would be pissed for turning him down " I guess I can..." I avert my eyes " great then I will pick you up on saturday then" he tells me " alright class let's get started" Mrs. Henson enters the classroom.
It was lunch and I ended up getting a guest visit me " I wonder who is here to visit you" Josh imagined " well I know it can't be my mom, since she has work at this time" I inform him " well then we will see" Josh opens the door for me " what a gentleman" I giggle but it seeces when I see who was there waiting for me " what are you doing here" I look at Jason " I really want to talk to you please just let me talk" he pleaded " ugh if I listen will you leave me alone" I asked. Jason followed me and Josh to the lunch room. Sitting at the table with my friends, who were confused on why a stranger was sitting with us. " so what do you want" I turn to him " I wanted to say sorry and I wanted to make up for what I did" he leaned into me " I don't think so Jason" I pushed him back " Scarlet please" he begs " Jason why do try so hard" I was getting annoyed " because I still love you" he looked directly in my eyes, I could see the honesty and the pain " I... I can't Jason" my hair covers my face " Scarlet..." his hand touches my shoulder " don't touch me" I spring out of my seat " now can you.... Now can you just leave me alone" I say quickly turning away and walking to the bathrooms leaving the silent table.

Joshua's POV:

I can't believe that guy had the guts to come here and hurt her. I stood from my chair and punched the guy, afterwards I ran after Scarlet. When I found her she was in the girl's bathroom alone crying " Scarlet... it's okay" sit beside her and drape my arm around her " I-I...I can't believe he said that" she croaked " it's alright... forget about him... I'm here for you" I shush her " but I... I still like him" she sobs, my heart sank at her revaluation " it's okay" I embrace her " I'm so sorry" she tightens her grip around me " it's alright" I smooth her hair. It took at least an hour to calm Scarlet down but I didn't mind.

Scarlet's POV:

I felt bad for bringing Josh into my problems but he helped me relax and calm down " thank you Josh I... I needed that" I whisper wiping my eyes " its alright.. it hurts me just as much to see you sad and hurt and all I want is for you to be happy" he gives me a good squeeze " why do you care so much" I ask kind of depressed " because I like you... may even love you so if you're sad then I'm sad, if you're happy then I'm happy" he lifts my chin to look him in the eyes " I don't really understand" I avert my eyes " then maybe this will help" he whispers leaning in capturing my lips with his. He was sweet, he wasn't too rough he was slow and had so much emotion in his kiss. At first I wasn't too sure and tried to move away but I felt his love his emotions, so I kissed him back moving our lips in sync. He pulled away but pressed his forehead against mine " I'm sorry if that was too quick" he opened his eyes gazing lovingly into mine " no it was sweet" I close my eyes and give him a small sweet peck on the lips " good because I didn't want to hurt you even more" he leans in again meeting my lips.

After we left the bathroom everyone was worried about me " Scarlet are you alright" Elaina asks " yeah" Aiden and Andrew agree in unison " I'm fine thanks to Josh" tighten my hold on his hand looking lovingly in his eyes like he did to me " oh... great job dude congratulations" Andrew patted Josh on the back causing him to blush " aww... I knew you two would get together" Elaina mused " yeah I guess it took a heart brake to get me to notice" I give a small smile.

After school I went through the same procedure. At home mom had dinner ready so we went up to our rooms and changed before coming back down to eat dinner. " how was your day Scarlet" my mother drags me to reality " it was great I got Jason to finally leave me alone and Joshua, that guy that showed me around the school before, well he asked me out" I smile and couldn't help the blush creeping onto my face " aww that is so sweet I'm glad you are happy and got that boy to leave you alone" my mother cheers. Today was really an eventful day... I'm just glad I could be happy with someone that actually likes me and can't choose between his ego and someone he loves I think laying in bed well enough thinking about him I have a new boyfriend, one that actually cares about my well being and will make sure I'm happy and safe I sigh and finally slip into a sweet dream filled sleep.
