Chapter 22:Callie

-Callie-

I was walking around when finally I heard Violet in the kitchen I sighed what time was it? All I knew was it was morning yay! I went to my room rather quickly then I got ready for the day and as I put my shoes on I noticed I had a wound like thing I frowned a patch of my skin was gray and bleeding a little I patched it up and covered it with my sock okay so now I'm rotting great I walked down stairs and everyone was eating I saw Spencer and Adam joking around that hurt me more than I expected I didn't think he would get over our breakup that quickly why was I even in the kitchen I don't eat I turned to leave but Ben grabbed my arm and he had a dead serious look

"We need to talk now"

I nodded and he lead me outside a few feet from the house my eyes darted towards the driveway and I stared at it until Ben started talking

" you're an idiot! "

I frowned "what?"

He scowls " Why on earth would you make a deal with my father?"

Still a tad shocked " how do you know? "

He rolls his eyes "Callie, I'm his son I can sense it"

Oh. Whoops. "I had to"

I looked down I wasn't ashamed I just didn't want to see the disappointment in his eyes. He pulled me into a hug and I left that was by far the weirdest thing I've done I needed to do something I felt like my anger was boiling over I needed to punch something I walked inside and looked around Gabe was done eating. Good. I pulled him outside

"Last time I came outside with you a snake kidnapped us"

I rolled my eyes and handed him a sword

"I need to fight"

He looked at me and his face softened "Ok"

Then we started we fought pretty well he cut my cheek and I "cried out" with lowered his guard and I flipped him as we fought he started talking

"So what's wrong?"

I sigh "Everything"

He sighs "you're break up?"

I scowl " Spencer doesn't care, no one cares anymore, Ophy, Alex, everything changing I'm slowly breaking but no one notices or they don't care and that good I don't want them to watch that"

I hit the sword out if his hand then I realized Andy, Violet,Adam, Cassie and Spencer were outside watching us I dropped my sword and looked at Gabe pleadingly

"How much did they hear"

He smiles " I have no idea Alex and Spencer where the first out they heard you scream and the rest just came out"

I hugged him then from pure embarrassment I took off running into the woods Stupid. stupid. Stupid. I'm such an idiot! Why would I tell him that why wasn't I paying attention I mentally slapped myself for being so careless I found a big tree and sat behind it I pulled my knees up and sighed I was stupid I remembered Artemis words hide my feelings it's the only way I don't want them to find anything out that would be bad. Very bad I'm leaving now that's what I'll do I ran back to the house and they were still there I ran inside and got my bag then I started writing a note I had to make it fake okay I can do this I started writing

"Dear whoever finds this, I can't take it anymore. I can't live with what I've done I am a horrible person worst Capricorn ever the gods made a horrible mistake I'm the last worse and literally stupid. I'm sorry guys I can't live with that but on the bright side most of you guys don't care anyways but when I'm gone I want you guys to be nice to Ophy he doesn't remember let's keep it that way And Alex he is your leader and my brother just because he isn't Andy doesn't mean he isn't great he is great he has the same skills and mind just not the damage it took me a while to accept it but he is a great brother and deserves respect just because I'm not here doesn't mean I won't come and haunt you and Spencer I know you probably hate me but I was doing this to make things easier trust me well guys I'm running out of paper bye!"

I sighed okay I folded it and put it on my desk and I snuck out the house and put my stuff in a truck I had everything ready I walked back inside and hugged most everyone I told them it was national hug day last was Spencer even if he hated me I needed to give him a hug I gave Adam a hug and he said sorry I walked up to Spencer and poked him he looked at me I took off my bracket and hugged him then I handed it to him

"I'm sorry" then I turned and left I drove to a motel my flight was tomorrow I was near the airport I slept there I didn't sleep I cried the entire time My phone was buzzing like crazy I got a phone call from every single one of them like thirty times the next morning I could still hear the buzzing I threw my phone out the door and I started walking to the airport I got past security and I was heading for the door. England here I come.
