Dean's POV

"Bye Sydney. Beat anyone up who bothers you" I winked at my little sister and she giggled

I smiled and walked out the door where my friend Austin was waiting for me.

"Hey bro" I said

"Hey, you ready?" He smirked

"What? You think I'm scared" I smirked back

He laughed "I can never tell with you"

"Let's go" I said getting in

When we got there I stepped out. Being the new kid everyone stared. Once girls got a good look the swooned over me. I winked at one and I might have made there day. I gave a small laugh and walked inside.

I found all of the usual stuff, locker, books, schedule, ect.

Me and Austin were talking as everyone went practically silent. I looked up and Austin smirked.

A girl walked down the hallway like she ruled the place. Her brunette hair fell on her shoulders. She had piercing blue eyes.

"Who's that" I asked as she made her way to her friends

"Her? She'll kill you, dude" he laughed

"Who is she" I demanded

"That's Red. She'll skin you alive" he said and my eyes focused on her

"What's her real name" I pushed

"Scarlett. Back off though. She rules this school. Even the sluts don't bother her" he laughed shaking his head

"Scarlett, I like her" I smirked

"Yeah, she's cool once you get to know her" he replied

"You know her" I asked

"We've been friends for a while" he brushed it off

I shrugged shutting my locker.

"Well let's meet her" I smirked

Red's POV

I walked up to my friends, Skyler, Luke, Angel, and Ryan.

"Way to make an entrance Red" Luke smirked

"Don't they get better by the day" I smirked

He rolled his eyes.

Then we all got eloped in our conversations talking about teachers, grades, boys (Mainly Skyler and Angel), and just things like life itself.

"Hey guys" Austin greeted us

Everyone began talking again as a chorus of "hi"'s and "hey"s began.

"Who's this" I motioned to the guy in front of me who walked with Austin. Everyone went silent.

"This is Dean. He just moved here" Austin explained

I eyes him up and down as the group watched, waiting for my approval. After a few seconds I said

"I'm Scarlett, better known as Red" I said looking him strait in the eyes

He gave me a playful smirk, "I kinda figured that out, princess"

I heard a chorus of ohhs around me as a crowd had gathered.

"Oh, sorry, didn't realize there was a brain in there" I smirked back and he shot me a glare

"I could say the same thing, but the way you walked in showed me everything"

"Listen asshole, I don't have time for your rants because there's the bell" right on cue the bell rang

"Nice job, Red" he smirked

I walked away then stopped, turned around, and gave him a wink. Then kept walking to first period.
