Claudius looked at Jessica. Jessica looked at Claudius. The waiter looked at both of them. "Any more biscuits you too?" he asked. The florescent lights of the Red Lobster lit them and cast shadows in uncertain places. "What a great place for a date" said Jessica, beckoning towards the crowded booths lined with crimson plastic. Claudius shoved more and more biscuits into his mouth, eight empty baskets lay beside him. He had issues.
"You look great." he smirked at Jessica. "Like a shiny chandelier." Jessica blushed. He can make furniture and decor sound so romantic. "Or like a couch or a lamp." "Oh stop it," she giggled. "Let's talk about you for a second." She nodded towards the navy blue fedora that clung to his blonde flawless hair like a sweaty kid to a soccer mom. "What led to that hat?" Claudius swallowed his biscuit and suddenly became distant. "My family... they were lost a long time ago..." The words came out cold and distantly distant. "I-I'm so terribly sorry" she sputtered, as she was not expecting such a deep and emotionally real answer out of such a sexy man. "I'll never forget that corn maze," he finished. They sat in silence for about three minutes. "So," said Claudius,"do you mind getting the check?"
They walked down the cement covered cement sidewalk, the moonlight lighting them as they went. "I had such a great night" said Claudius. "Yes" she blushed while blushing. "It's hard finding love, for my fedora is too dangerous for most girls."he confessed. "I like it... I think it shows how morally justified you are, for going against our society I mean." Jessica and Claudius stopped suddenly. A rustling in the bushes caught their attention. Suddenly five bowler hats emerged from the earth. "Nice night for a walk huh?" said the meanest one. The bowler hats were very mean and overall jerks unconditionally. "Stand back Jessica" said Claudius while he scanned the area. "You're coming with us." said the biggest one. "Not on my watch" said Claudius, and showed everyone his nice $300 Rolex watch he had. "Looks like we's gonna haves a fight here." said one of the other largest bowler hats. "Looks like we will." said Claudius. The fight began.
