The bowler hats each produced a metal crowbar form their back pockets. It was one of their advanced dystopian weapon technology. The crowbar was supposed to simulate the pain of being smacked in the kneecaps with a crowbar, by smacking them in the kneecap with the crowbar.  It was quite advanced and technological. Also futuristic as well. Claudius fell to the ground, as the metal rod connected with his sexiest kneecap. "No, that was my sexiest kneecap!" screamed Claudius, clutching his leg in pain.

"You'll pay for that" he screamed.  One of the Bowler hat smirked. "Money is no trouble to us" he said, referencing the fact that the bowler hats were very rich. Claudius jumped to his feet and ran at the Bowler hat at top speed. He rammed into him, fedora down. The bowler hat shattered to the ground, like a broken vase. "My god," screamed one of them,"he shattered to the ground like a broken vase!" They scuttled away, panicked and worried.

Claudius and Jessica sat alone, illuminated by a lone streetlight. "Looks like it's all over, and we won," said Claudius. They suddenly found themselves in complete darkness as the light flickered out. Claudius clung to Jessica out of fear. Then, all at once, the lights came back on."Sorry about that," said the mechanic who was changing the light bulb as part of his weekly maintenance. They sat there staring at each other for a few minutes, the three of them all in silence. "'S cool," said Jessica. They sat in silence for five more minutes. Then the mechanic spoke up,"Are you guys gonna like kiss or something?" "W-we were thinking about it." said Claudius. "Oh geez sorry, I didn't mean to-" "It's cool,  it's cool" said Jessica over the intense awkwardness of the situation. "I'll just go" said the mechanic. "Okay" replied Claudius. The mechanic scurried away, leaving the two alone again.

"That was pretty brave of you back there," muttered Jessica as she stared into the deep pools of Claudius's eyes. "I'm just glad that-" they were interrupted by the sound of clanging tools. They both looked to find it was the mechanic, back again. "Sorry, sorry...I-I just forgot my toolbelt and I kind of really need it to do my job so"

"Don't worry about it." muttered Claudius, refusing to make eye contact with the mechanic.

"I'll be going now. Sorry again." They looked into each others eyes again. "You remind me of a person who is very hot."

"Oh Claud," Jessica giggled, "you have such a way with words." A sound of smashing glass interrupted them. They looked over the mechanic who had stepped on a light bulb which was now shattered to pieces. "Oh my... I am SO sorry guys, this is the last time, I swear." He began  to slowly sweep up the glass. "You know what, we'll just go over here." Jessica grabbed Claudius's hand and began walking away, but suddenly a beeping sound came from his pocket. It was another piece of futuristic technology, which notified the person every time someone tired to contact or call them, so they could know without being at their phone. It was called a pager. "Oh no, it's my rebellion buddies. It's probably about our plan to take down the government or something. Boring, trivial stuff but I should go anyways. They need me."

"I understand" said Jessica, "I'll see you tomorrow. He walked off into the darkness, gone as fast as he came.
