Claudius and Jessica ran through the metal walls of the bowler hats base. They stopped at every room, looking for the control center. The place was surprisingly empty. As it turned out, they were all in the lunch hall, meeting for their weekly bowler hat bingo game. "We'll never find the control center at this rate!" said Claudius who had searched a room to find that it was yet another supply closet. "This is the thirteenth supply closet I've found! This entire place is just one supply closet after another!"
It was true. The original facility was meant to be much smaller, but one employee wrote 300 instead of 30 on the blueprints, leaving 270 extra rooms. He would have been fired, if he had not changed the number of supply closets to 270 as well. Just then they found it. A single room marked "Control Center."
"This might be it" said Jessica. It was. They burst through the double doors and found themselves in a massive room with four massive glowing white pillars around them, and a single platform in the middle. On the platform sat a single on/off switch, unguarded. There was usually a guard, but he was off playing bingo with the rest of the employees. Claudius bolted for the switch, but suddenly a giant invisible force knocked him against the wall, ripping off his shirt and exposing his abs.
"Not so fast" said a familiar voice.
"Oh no," muttered Claudius, "Chester!"
"Tis' I!" he said. He was in a giant robot suit shaped like himself. It even had it's own robo bowler hat.
"I won't let you turn off that control center, not you or your girlfriend!" he picked up Jessica, trapping her in his robo grasp. "You won't get away with this!" she screamed.
"Oh, but I will. Destroying you is just the start of my plan you see. I have a more dastardly plan that follows."
"What could possibly be more evil than a bowler hat?" said Claudius. Chester laughed, quite evily. He pulled a lever and a platform rose from the ground. On it was a mannequin, who wore not just a bowler hat, but a belt with a bowler hat emblem, a shirt with bowler hats printed on it, the works.
"I present to you, the newest line of fashion. Bowler hat EVERYTHING! Belts, pants, shirts, watches, you name it!"
"By god!" screamed Claudius,"They're...they're hideous!" Chester laughed again.
"You can't stop me Claudius! Soon Bowler hats will dominate all factions of fashion, and rule it all!"
"Noooooooooooooo!" screamed Claudius, giving up all hope.
"I don't think so," said a voice from afar. It was Fred and the rest of the rebellion!
"Fred! I thought you guys disowned me!" said Claudius
"Fedoras look out for each other. Plus, we hate these guys so..."
Chester chimed in,"Oooh look at you guys! You think you're so cool. Well guess what? I have an army too!" Suddenly a door opened and millions of bowler hats spilled in. They all produced a crowbar, and looked ready to fight.
"What do you say, Claud? One more fight?" Claudius got back up to his feet. He straightened his fedora. "Let's boogie."
