It was great to be back. It was great to have the team together again. I'd missed the Capsicle. I'd missed Point Break. I'd missed the crazy agent lady. I'd missed Legolas. I missed the lovely green guy. And, as much as I really, really hated to admit it, I'd missed Miss Mysterious as well, in all her sarcastic glory.

I skirted the boundaries of the base, looking for a window to smash through and end the party. I found one of good size and breakability, and I flew through it. The glass shattered and two snipers were knocked from the edge. Seven soldiers inside open fired on me. They did realise that I was in a metal suit and that bullets would ricochet off it, right? Obviously not.

I rolled my eyes. "Guys, stop, we gotta talk this through."

My tiny missile launchers popped from my shoulders. They fired at any revealing legs and arms. They collapsed, groaning in pain.

I landed. I stepped over their bodies to leave the room. "Good talk."

"No, it wasn't."

I entered a walkway and went exploring. I was looking for a data point. I knew there was one in the fortress somewhere. The amount of action going on outside proved it, not to mention the signals J. and I were picking up back in Manhattan. There was one here.

I walked past a small room. And then I backtracked. I saw a man typing in a hectic fashion. It was as if he was...trying to delete something. Perhaps it was the HYDRA agents' porn history?

All the same, I stepped inside. He looked up. I fired a small repulsor blast, sending him flying into some storage boxes.

The shell of my suit opened up and I stepped out, closing behind me. I held up a finger. "Sentry mode."

The suit raised its hand, repulsor at the ready for unlucky intruders.

I headed over to the computer station, two screens of compact laptops blaring and humming at work. I cracked my fingers and did my magic. "Okay, JARVIS. You know I want it all." With a few taps of my fingers on a keyboard, the files went from deleting to downloading. HYDRA intel was ours. "Make sure you copy Hill at HQ."
