     Niya pov...........

Me and Alex needed a break from the boring run of the mill day after weeks of nothing, we decided to hope to my home world, though shade haze wasn't the best tourist location, the creatures that awaited in it's wilds made great battle practice. The warp stone dropped us into the market place, I missed the comforts of home, never too bright like the human world, I don't see how Claire can stand it. Fresh midnight fruit with it's dark skin but deliciously sour taste, I remember hating it when I was little, but I miss it when gone from home. We get a ride across the sky river from the boatsman, even got to say bye to rasia, though with a giant monstrous tiger guarding the city, you gotta at least let it know your headed out. Alex still gives me weird looks when my eyes take on their true form, the pupils become pointed and the iris glows a golden yellow as we enter the tunnels leading to the wilds. Though it's day time, hunting is always a challenge due to my worlds lack of a sun, we hunt by the same darkness that all of the life here was born in, only light being the occasional trench leading to the corrupted green fire burning miles below the surface, though never bright enough to give more then a slight glow, there's also the soul crystals, violet and red rocks the glow in the presence of a living creatures suffering, it must be completely obvious by my home world as to why I'm " just so nice" .

We stalked some small prey, mostly blood fiend salamanders and venomous mountain rats, but to get anything worth fighting we'd have to travel further into the wilds. We watch the ace art change from stone and fire to thrones bare trees and twisted brambles, a forest of shrieking trees, and by that I mean they literally shriek and scream when touched, and seeing as bugs and birds and bars live here, it sounds like someone is dying in the distance always. Three hours of headaches later we get out of the forest and head into the plains, here the plains are the only normal growth of life there is, it is the half of our world also over run by creatures more vicious then rasia. " we are almost there."

" alright but if we have to go through more screaming anything I'll have to kill you.......... Heightened hearing,"

" stop whining and pick up the pace, you'll want to find a good spot before the moon comes out." I keep having to lie through my teeth to him as we get close to our real target, the lost valley.

We came to the valley's edge, a dark trench cutting deep into the planet, much like the Grand Canyon on earth, a stair case made of stone leading down to a catacomb of caves," it's time I tell ya the truth, Claire didn't send us out here to go hunting, she sent us to get something that can help with your little psycho moments, that way we don't have a repeat of your little incident at home. " I kinda figured as much, but what exactly did you think we'd find out here," " well most don't know this but we are standing on top of a secret vault, inside are the most dangerous wielders to live petrified into crystal to keep them from escaping, but before that, they are outfitted with nulling bands." The blank and completely ignorant look on his face said he was lost, " it blocks dark wielder magic, and good or not that little out burst was dark, so we swipe a band and if you go out of control, we slap it on ya and it should absorb all the excess till yer back to normal.

Alex pov........

I can't blame them for wanted to keep my dark power at bay, but it was a strong form, but we had to atleast find this band that absorbs energy for when I go alittle too out of control, though it still bothers me that she waited till now to tell me.     We climb down into the cave structure and Niya leads the way, it was pitch black in the cave and even with improved vision I still had to hold onto her shoulder to guide me.      We got further into the cave when a tile on the floor moved, and a glowing crystal raised from the hole, it wasn't like the dim ones outside, it castes fairly bright light.     Feeling that it was a better idea then walking through the dark blind, I broke off a piece of the crystal and used it like a lantern to brighten up the darkness.     We finaly made it to the first chamber of the under ground prison,  the jailers had long since left it abandoned, except for the prisoners, though I hadn't seen any so far.
