Familiar wars

The girl of shadows

My powers had grown and I had learned to control them, well for the most part, they did sometimes happen at random and put of my control, but I regained thier focus easily now. Me and spirit(wolf brothers name) have been practicing and he's taught me a whole bunch, it wasn't easy and I did blow myself up a lot, no not like guts everywhere more like fire and me getting sent flying, well fire or energy blasts.

I was jus walking like normal, when I herd a giggle, it wasn't an animal, I rifted(energy jumped) to the sound and his behind some bushes, I found it, well her. She was there, dangling from some vines and giggling along with a painter who was doing the same, they both got untangled and jumped down, "ok jewel lets go, I gotta get back before school." I hadn't had to speak in a while so it sounded odd hearing her talk, but I knew what he ment, she knew a way back out, and how to get here, I had to find out.
She had began to run along the path stopping a few times to collect crystals that were growing along the trail, as well as silver and some river rocks that had been polished, if I ha to guess it was just about anything that shined, but she made her was north of the the den, I marked the way as I went by scratching the base of the trees in the way, I followed for a good half hour before she stopped, and asked the panther to open the gate, I looked around them to see the silver door, the panther out her law on it and let out her glow an the door opened to reveal an area of few trees and there were houses and buildings in the distance, I gasped and the girl jumped and looked back she didn't see me but just as she jumped through the door it closed, I was gonna try to open it, but it began to fade, I looked up to find that the sun wAs setting here, another thing that had rules on when it was there, I faced the same issue while exploring some ruin temples that were overgrown by the forest, they only existed at either night or day depending on the place, but never at both, and then there were others where time would be frozen as long as you were inside and then you continue as you exited.

I would have to come back tommarrow, but at the same time, I wasn't realy sure weather or not to go through, I had made a home and friends here, and back there I was only a lonley sad kid, I was conflicted and decided to go home and sleep, maybe I will dried by tommarrow.

I decided that going back wasn't a good idea not yet anyways, but I did want to know the girl, she comes back all the time, but during the daylight hours when I'm normally asleep, so I stay sleeping alittle differently so I can see her, I usually find her near the crystal falls swiping shiny bits, or on some days I did her running with her panther, I found out the panther was called jewel, and she called the girl Niya. I had watched them many times but never got up the courage to speak to her, one time I was close I was going to for sure but then I stepped on a stick and the noise caused them to run away, it was a lot harder to talk to people then I remembered. I may have bad social skills but she was also very tricky, she didn't rift but for some reason I could have her cornered and then she would just be gone, then out of nowhere I would find her somwhere else, and the panther is just as bad, I had spirit try to talk to her but she just vanished in him, no explication for how they just did, though I found they don't like nightfall, they always leave at the first sign of sunset, and always avoid getting to far off path.
