~Those eyes of yours could swallow stars, galaxies and universes. What hope did I ever have? ~
Five. I started trudging down the steps. A laugh was bubbling inside me as I muttered, "Four." My lips started to spread and I clutched my bag tightly. Three. I watched as people entered the iron gates. Two. I held the iron gate and ran my fingers along its hard rails. The rails which had been prison for me. I threw my head back and laughed, not caring about what others might be thinking as I said, "One".

Four years ago.
I stood in front of black iron gates that stood proud in front of me. They had Hell written all over them. I frowned as I watched people rushing into the building happily. I couldn't understand their reason of such happiness. Or maybe I could. These people 'chose' to come here. This was what made them happy. Studying and doing Business was their dream. A dream which came true for them. Theirs was a transparent dream which had found a hale pillow to support it, and became a reality. Unlike mine, which was left forever to remain a transparent dream. With that thought in my mind, I made my way in the building, leaving my dream outside the iron gates which held them back like the rails of a prison.

I drove around the last corner on the street and stopped my car in front of another iron gates. Ah, so many iron gates in my life, I sighed. But well, this one is less horrid than the former so I'll live, instead of surviving which was the only thing I did there. Pushing all the negative thoughts away, I put on a brave front and smiled, knowing that the nightmare of my life was now officially over. I honked my car and immediately, the person standing behind the gates opened them and I drove in swiftly. Finally home.
I parked my car directly in front of the main door and came out. I stretched my limbs which had went stiff through the one hour drive. After fully stretching myself, I went to the back of the car to retrieve my bags. As I ducked my head inside to grab my two bags, I heard the main doors bursting wide open and the sound of footsteps running filled my ears. Footsteps. Several footsteps. Several footsteps running towards me. Glad to see they haven't completely forgotten about me, I thought and stood up straight with one bag in each hand.
My Mom was the first person I saw coming towards me. Behind her was my sister, Daphne, then my Dad and finally my brother, Declan.
"June! Oh my God. Come here baby," my Mom cried and engulfed me in a hug. My Mom is an overly dramatic kind of person. Not in the evil way, though. But sometimes she just reacts 'differently' in a situation as compared to the way she has to.
"Juno! How are you?" Daphne came running and included herself to the hug.
"Ugh! Peghple I gant brugth" I tried to speak but only weird sounds could be heard which unfortunately didn't pass as actual words.
"Cami, Daph let the girl breathe." My Dad decided to intervene and thankfully didn't add himself to the hug.
Mom and Daph had sheepish grins on their faces as they extracted their arms from my body and gave me space to breathe.
