We never got in trouble for that fight, and Emma was fine after a night in the Hospital Wing. In fact, Hufflepuff got 5 points for stopping the fight. Time went by and things became a routine. I ended up having to tell Teddy that I was wrong. He laughed and said that I owed him a butterbeer when we both finally get to go to Hogsmeade. Before any of us knew it, Christmas was upon us. Everyone who was going home for the holidays was leaving the next morning. I was going home for Christmas as was everyone else besides the triplets. I had just sat down for supper when the triplets ran up to me. "Carly! Why didn't you tell us that you won't be hear on your birth-day? It's December 29 isn't it?" Edward asked.

"What? How did you-"

"We have our ways. So seriously, why didn't you tell us?"

"I didn't think about it actually."

"We can't even throw a party for you! And you know how much Emma likes to party!" Edgar complained. Emma just shrugged her shoulders and said, "Guilty as charged."

"You wouldn't have been able to throw a party for me anyway."

"Why would they throw a party?" Austin asked, sitting down beside me. "They're upset because they can't throw a birth-day party for me because I won't be here."

"When's your birth-day?"

"December 29." He nodded his head and started eating dinner. "Well, since we can't throw you a party, then we'll just send you a present!" Emma said matter-of-factly

"Y'all don't have to do that!"

"We don't have to but we're going to."

"Fine, whatever." They're was no changing Emma's mind after she decided she was doing something. "Alright, see you later Carly!" She said, and then they left. "Why didn't you tell us about your birth-day?" Austin asked. "I never thought about it."

"Ah, well I hope you have a good birth-day with your family, I'm going to finish packing." He said, standing to leave.

"But you've barely eaten anything."

"I'm not that hungry. See you in the morning."

"See ya."

I finished my dinner quickly and then went to my dorm room. Iridessa was sleeping peacefully on my bed and I looked around my area. Most of my stuff was ready and I really had nothing else to pack except for the stuff that I needed in the morning, toothbrush, hairbrush, etc. I grabbed Iridessa up and put her in my pocket. "Nothing for me to do here, might as well go to the library." I thought, exiting the common room.

When I got to the library, there was barely anyone else in there. A particular book stood out to me. The cover said, The Tales of Beedle the Bard, and there were little illustrations all over it. There was a hairy heart, a stump with a rabbit jumping in it, a cauldron with one foot, a small fountain, and three hands holding a stone, a see-through cloak, and a wand. It looked like a good book, so I sat at a table and just began to open it when someone said, "That's a good one." I jumped about ten feet and whipped around to see Teddy laughing. "Not. Funny."

"Yeah, it actually was. So anyway, why are you reading a fairy tale book?"

"I've never read it, so why not. Where are the triplets?"

"You know, we aren't ALWAYS together."

"Fair enough. So, what are these stories?"

"Alright," he said, flipping the book back to the cover and pointing at the each of the pictures saying, "The stump with the hare, that's Babbity Rabbity and Her Cackling Stump. The three hands is the Tale of the Three Brothers, the fountain is The Fountain of Fair Fortune, the pot-thing, is The Wizard and the Hopping Pot, and that heart is The Warlock's Hairy Heart."
