They say that knowledge is safety...but exactly what kind of "safe haven" does it provide? Is it the kind that prevents you from attempting the impossible, or the kind that stops you from making the wrong decisions? What about the saying, 'ignorance is bliss'? Does it mean that not knowing is better than having some type of knowledge about the world? Thaera is a planet fifty billion light years away from Earth, where civilization is uniform. Thaerians have predetermined fates, chosen mates, and are settled into society with titles and ranks that were given to them at birth. They live in communities called urbs, only allowed to communicate with the people inside their own. Is there any freedom at all, and if there was, could the people of Thaera handle it?
PLEASE NOTE:
All characters that are used in this fanfiction participate in events that are NOT real. This story is completely fiction, using real characters. This is my original storyline, written by me, so please do not copy this and post it as yours.
Also, this story has a long beginning and it may seem like this is not a fanfiction. I will assure you, I'm doing this on purpose. The storyline is complicated and needs to be introduced fairly slow, and I will guarantee you that One Direction characters will show up later in the story.
