Agent Ana Michaels

S.H.I.E.L.D. HEADQUARTERS

"You ready?"

"Ladies first, Michaels."

The brunette grinned and lunged at the other male agent. He quickly side-stepped. The hit meant for his chest just missed, her knuckles touching the fabric of his training gear. From the corner of her eye, she saw him bring his left arm in a move to hit her jaw. She ducked, leaning back and grabbed his arm, twisting it so his back was to her front.

He immediately threw her over his shoulder. She landed on the blue mat with a thud and widened her eyes when he lifted his leg to drop it on her chest. She rolled out from under him just in time and jumped up. She crouched, swiping his legs from under him and heard as he fell on his side.

She twirled to face him as he got up, both walking in a circle. "You're good." He laughed breathlessly.

She smirked at him, giving a shrug. "I was taught well." She replied, the sweat trickling down her forehead. He avoided the fist she quickly threw, only to collide with another.

He groaned from the jab at his ribcage, the sting fading quickly. In front of him, she grinned and lunged again, but he was quicker. He used her speed against her, sending her down on the mat with her back against the floor. She groaned and he stopped her from getting up by pinning her arms down with his knees.

"I guess not that well, huh Ana?" He asked, his head tilting to the side.

She struggled from underneath him and huffed. "Okay, you win." She said with a roll of her eyes. He smirked down at her, satisfied.

She then grinned, using her legs that weren't pinned to circle his neck. He widened his eyes and she used his shock to take her arms out and used his weight to move them. He was now in her position with her knees pinning his arms down.

"Oh why don't you look at that, I guess I won." She cheered and he rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, yeah. Just help me up, Michaels." He retorted. She laughed and jumped to her feet, holding her hand out for him to take. He took it and stood up. He shook his head a small smile on his face, "Natasha taught you that last one I bet."

She nodded as they walked to the side bench where towels and water were there for them. She took both bottles and handed him one. "Yep, you gotta be really flexible with that move and careful, incase you break your opponents neck." She told him. She chuckled when he looked at her in shock but gave her a hesitant laugh, "But you know that move well, right?"

She shrugged, wrapping her towel around her shoulders. "I guess?" He shook his head and she laughed, waving her hand. "I'm kidding, Grant. Nat made sure I had it right." He laughed after and nodded, "I knew that." He said.

They walked out of the training room and into the main foyer. He gulped down the rest of his water before smiling at her, "Well thanks for the spar." He then narrowed his eyes playfully, "I will win next time, Agent Michaels." She nodded giving him a 'yeah right' look. "I'm looking forward to it, Agent Ward." They shared a laugh before saying their farewells.

She turned on her heel and walked to her room, greeting her fellow colleagues on the way. She walked past the front office, the glass doors showing the current crisis in New York. The Stark Expo, the new attraction re-instituted by Tony Stark, was under attack by Hammer drones. She didn't know much about the problem, but she did know that Natasha was there helping. By the looks of it, everything was under control.

As she continued walking to the other side of the building, she bumped into Clint. He opened his arms in a 'there you are' gesture and followed her. "Hey. Finally, I've been looking everywhere for you." He sighed out.

She nodded looking at the two files in his hands, "I was in the training wing. What's that? Another assignment?" She questioned.

They entered her small room and he sat on top of the table by the tv hanging on the wall. She dropped her bag and wiped her face with her towel. He spread the two files on the table and tapped on one, looking at her. "Coulson stopped by, said he wanted you down with him in New Mexico."

Ana picked up the file and opened it, reading the very brief information. She raised her eyebrow, "Not much to go on. Just about an object that fell from the sky, created a huge crater and is now surrounded by," She squinted and read the last words, "Townies, trying and failing to pull it out of the ground. Looks like they made it an attraction." She hummed and looked at Clint, who was looking at her in amusement, with a nod.

"Sounds weird. I'm in."

Ana looked up at him and pointed using the file in her hands, "What about you? Have you been assigned?" She asked.

Clint hoped off the table and smirked, "I am going on vacation. It's about damn time to." He placed his hands on his hips and grinned.

Ana pouted, "Aw, well, see you in month I guess." She told him.

Clint smiled and brought her in for a hug, "Oh come on Ana, you should be glad I'm going away, you won't have to deal with surprise attacks every morning." He chuckled and she did too, pulling away and giving him a small punch on the shoulder.

"Yeah your right, enjoy Hawaii or some other place with coconut drinks."

"Do my dreams count? 'Cause I'm going into hibernation."
