I woke up feeling fantastic compared to the last 8 years. I glanced in my alarm clock and it is already afternoon. I groaned. I didn’t realize that I have slept this much since the past years.

Then I remembered last night. Oh no. I drank my professor's blood. I'm dead. On top of it, he is none other than the cold evil potions master. This means I owe him. I hate owing a favor. I hate people helping me, it makes me look weak.

Damn it. I don’t think I can face him ever again.

I got up and fixed myself, sighing.

I secured my room lock with magic and drink the pack of blood from the headmaster.

Feeling really weird last night, just thinking that my first direct blood was from the potions master makes me feel.... Well I don’t know this feeling....

"Oi! Lexie. You awake?" Cheska called and turned the knob but it was locked.

I didn’t answer. I'm not in the mood to be with anyone right now.

I think I need to get some fresh air. I waited for her to leave the common room before I went out.

I am sitting near the Black Lake staring at nowhere and my mind blank.

"Ms. Jade." a cold voice transports me back to reality. I turned and saw the last person I want to see staring at me. I groaned inwardly but I managed to smile. "Can I do something for you, Professor?" I asked innocently knowing too well what he wants. But hey maybe playing innocent will work.

"Follow me, " I just stared, "Now!" Or not..

So here I am. Back to Snape's office.

"Have a seat." he frowned. "Near my desk."

I really don’t like the idea of sitting in front of him after what happened I would rather be beside the door.

"Care to explain. About. Last. Night" he crossed his arms.

“Please Sir, I don’t want to talk about it to anyone. Can we please drop this, Professor?"

"I am not just anyone you insolent child! I am your professor. And no we are not dropping this."

"But you already know what I am!" and then I glanced at his table, "You also read about my kind, I see. So wha-"

"Ms. Jade. I want you to answer my questions. It’s just simple questions." he paused. I nodded.

"How old are you?"

I frowned but answered, "I just turn 16 yesterday, Sir."

"I believe that the existence of vampires are said to be just a myth. There is no proof of their existence. Therefore making them just an urban lege-"

"I AM NOT AN URBAN LEGEND! WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ME A FAIRY-"

"I am just saying that books written about your kind is not.... reliable.... since almost all witches and wizards think that way. So I want you to confirm whatever I read and thought about you."

I nodded as I calmed down.

"How did you become a vampire?" I looked up at him.

"I don't know, but when I was 1 year old; my uncle said that I was in a critical condition. He said I only had one month at most. My mother being a healer and potion master, created a potion.....  But I really don’t know how… and the um... the effect is... well... this....a..." my voice trailing off
