Third Persons POV
They stared into each other's eyes for a minute before Alexandra realized what Severus is trying to do... She cannot let him invade her mind; she built a wall in her mind so strong that Alexandra suddenly collapsed.
Snape caught her before she hit the floor, "Ms. Jade?"
Alexandra's POV
"How is she?"
"Fine. She's sleeping in my bed. That idiotic girl do not kno-" a cold voice said
I heard a familiar chuckle.
"What?! I didn't do anything to her! I told you she just loss consciousness after...."
Huh? Why? What happened? Yeah, I remember. I am walking through the corridor for my detention and then....
I can't remember what's next. Weird.
"After? What are you not telling me Severus? What really happened last night?"
I slowly opened my eyes and saw a man with the twinkling eyes in the doorway. "Professor Dumbledore!"
I ran and threw him a bear hug. "I missed you Professor!"
"How are you my dear?" Dumbledore asked.
"I'm perfectly fine, Sir" I said with enthusiasm.
"No, problems at all?" he said his eyes twinkling madly.
"None, Professor"
I heard a sneer behind me, and turned around to see the Potions Master.
"What happened to you? Severus here told me you fainted. What happened?" asked Dumbledore.
I frowned a bit, trying to rack my brain for the memory, but I couldn't really remember.
"I don't know, Sir. I can't remember anything. The last thing I remember is.." from the corner of my eyes I saw Snape stiffened, weird. "...I am walking... well... uhm... I.... kinda... sprinting out of the castle and then.... I really can't remember. Sorry Professor. What, why, what happened? And.... Where am I?" noticing for the first time that I am not in my dorm or in the hospital wing.
Dumbledore explained to me about last during detention and how I was thirsty and fainted afterwards of drinking blood.
"Lexie, you must ask for help or assistance from other people if you needed it, especially now that your fainting is becoming more often. You can't do everything alone. Luckily, Severus here offered himself to you and no harm-"
"I did not offer myself to her! I just did th-" Snape yelled. I felt my cheeks burn.
"I think Professor Snape is left with no choice that night, Headmaster" I felt my face burn hotter, why am I defending him.
Dumbledore just looked between us with amusement. "Forgive me. You misinterpre-"
He was cut off by Snape, "Why are you here, Headmaster?" he said irritably.
Dumbledore turned to me "Yes, yes. I believe that you are aware of the blood contamination in the blood banks." he paused. I nodded. "That problem is not yet solved, so you're blood source is quite....a problem."
"Thank you for your concern headmaster but I can manage. Really"
"You can manage? Is that what you call last night?" Snape said in a sarcastic tone.
I looked down. "I can't defend myself with your comment, Sir, like I said I don't remember afterwards." I whispered.
"Regardless," Dumbledore looked at me seriously, "seeking help is not a bad thing. In fact, it's the opposite, knowing when you need help is a n indication of maturity and braveness."
