Chapter 5

Adrienne

I sat down at my meeting with the owners of a building on Sunset blvd.I wanted to rent it for now and later buy it to use as the headquarters for my styling company.I thought i'd call it Skye & co.Skye is my middle name and I thought it fit.

"Nice to meet you Adrienne."One of the owners, Daniel said

"Like wise."I smiled

"So shall we get down to business?"Dave said

I nodded.

"So you want to rent the office?"He asked

"Yes that's correct."I said

"And how much are you willing to pay?Just lay a price on the table."Dan said

"Uhh maybe 10,000."I said

"That's pretty reasonable for the size of the office.We will be in touch with you through email if we have any other offers."Dave said

I nodded."That sounds great."

"Anything else?"They stood up

"Not at all."I said and shook their hands

"Alright i will be contacting you soon Ms.Philips."Dave said

"Yes sir."I said and left the building

I walked out and got into my car.I was in the mood for my favorite In and Out.So i pulled up and went inside.I ordered my food and waited.I heard the door open but i was too involved in my phone to look up.

"What you want Kam?"I heard

I looked up and there was Druex and Kameron.It's been 2 years.We haven't been in any contact since my mixtape release party.He turned around and looked at me.Our eyes met.

"Adrienne?"He said

I slightly smiled."Hey."

He walked over with Kam and sat down at the booth with me.

"Hi Ms.Adri."He said

"Hey Kam."I smiled and hugged him

"How have you been?"I asked Druex

"Im good."He nodded

"That's good."I said looking in his eyes

I can't lie i miss him and theirs still a connection there.

"I heard you were engaged.Congrats."He said

I snapped back to reality.

"Oh uh yeah.Thank you."I said

He nodded.

"Druex what's taking so long?I have an appointment!!"I looked up and saw a pregnant Nikki

I looked down and my number was called.

"I'll see you guys around."I said lowly

I got my food and walked out the restaurant quickly.I stopped once i made it outside and sighed.I can't believe she's pregnant and he wanted me to have an abortion...
