Kidnapped by Idiots {BOOK ONE OF KBI SERIES}

Chapter 4- If I didn't know better

"Y-you guys kill people?" I asked stepping back from all of them. Especially that girl who was strangely enthusiastic about killing me.

"Uh-Duh." Kai said in a 'duh' looking at me as if I was the stupid one,"They call us the Seven Deadly Sins for a reason."

"I thought that was-was just your name not...."I trailed off and took another step back, just to be met with another wall.

"If this girl doesn't stop narrating us men as walls, I swear!" Kai yelled.

'If this boy doesn't stop breaking the laws of reading, I swear!' I thought.

"I heard that!" Kai said.

"No you didn't!" I tried to convince him.

"Convincing will not work young one, you need to use the force." 

"We are not in Star Wars." 

"Yes we are. You need to belive."

"Shut up."

"You do not talk to a Jedi with such low respect." Kai defended himself with a hand over his heart.

"Now I do."

"Such a rude child!" Kai yelled and turned to Mickey,"Did we ever raise a child with such manners?"

"I'm sure we didn't." Mickey answered Kai shaking his head. 

"H-how could she speak that way to me!?" Kai cried and started to wipe fake tears as Mickey hugged him.

Mickey's head snapped torwards e and shook it.

"Disgraceful." He hissed.

"What?" I asked.

"Such a rude, rude child." Val wispered.

"What is wrong with you people!" I yelled. I was finally tired of thier antics and I was angry enough that they kept joking with me feelings. My feelings about being safe, even though I'm kidnapped. I'm sick of it. I just want to go back to school and live my life before they came and put me in thier goddamn, white truck!

"Just give me a ride back to school. I'm sick and tired of you guys. It isn't funny anymore, okay? Just bring me back to school."  I sighed.

"Does she not get it?" Kai asked stepping out of his motherly mode.

"No. She doesn't." I told him,"Put me back in school, now!" I yelled. I've never been so eagar to be in school.

"We can't." Weuss stepped up and spoke,"Listen, I didn't think or now you were a nerd but, if school's so important we can call up our friend Aundini and she can help you stu-"

"No!" I cut him off,"Just bring me back to sc-"

"No!" Kai yelled cutting me off,"Sorry we can't and, you just got a taste of your own medicine."

"Listen, I just want to go home."

"Yeah and I get that but-"

"If you get it then send me back."

"We can't." Kai said in a sterner voice which made me even madder.

"Why not!" I exploded at Kai. His eyes went wide for a moment but then he gave me a hard look.

"The reason you can't leave is..." He sighed and then smirked at me,"Confidential."

"Forget you. Forget all of you!" I yelled and turned aroung to go out the door but was stopped by Jack. Or as I liked to cal him. Mr.Skeleton.

"Move Mr.Skeleton." I ordered.

"Who?" He asked.

"Listen, I don't have time for-" I was shut up by my mouth being covered.

"You talk too much." Scarlet said and dragged me against my will up the stairs and down the hall until we reached a door. 

"You stay here, bigmouth." She said and threw me inside. 

Once she slammed the door in my face, I stood up and muttered 'Whose the rude one now?'.

I took this time to look around the room for escape route. It was a medium-sized room with blue walls and a queen sized bed on the far right. It didn't even have bedsheets and other than that there was litteretly nothing else. The window on the right, above the bed, was barred, so there was no escaping there. Then at the top there was a vent, which was somehow, also barred. That means there was also no escaping there. 

I heard a knock on the door. It opened to reveal Kai standing there with a huge smile. 

"Hey." He said and walked inside.

"What?" I asked him, to be honest I was kinda annoyed that he even showed up to this empty room.

"Nothin'." He answered and sat down on the bed and looked around.

"Then, can I go? Can I leave? Why am I still here?"

Kai looked at me and smiled an infectious smile. For some reason my heart sped up and I almost smiled back before I remembered that I hated him, especially right now.

"No." He said simply.

"Why not?" I demanded to know. I needed to know why they needed me so much.

Instead of answering he walked over to me and gave me a hug that engulfed my face in his chest. In a matter of fact, I think I sunk into him. His hands wrapped around my waist as he pulled me closer.

"I need you. Duh." He told me. For some reason, I hugged him back. I don't know why but, I fell asleep in his arms after a while. I would've fallen if I wasn't in his arms at the time. I had this wandering thought that he has save me once again. I wonder where that came from.
