I started to curse at the closet door and kick it. That is, until I heard something crash down from outside the door.
"You-!" I heard someone scream before a loud thump was made and someone fell to the ground.
"Why won't you stay down?" I heard what sounded like Kai ask.
"Why won't you tell me why she means so much to you?" I heard another man who I identified as the Donkey man retorted.
"Why would I?" Kai shot back I I heard something else crash.
"Because..." He said and then everything else was a whisper.
"Ah, danggit." I cursed as things went quiet,"I wanted in on that gossip."
Suddenly there was something that sounded like a gunshot and it rang throughout the house and into my ears.
I jumped, screeched and flew down, crouching to cover my ears. Why was I suddenly afraid of this when they were fighting all those other bad people? I thought to myself.
That's right. I knew who and who didn't get shot.
Suddenly the door to the closet flew open.
"Hello. Can't you see I'm busy talking to myself?" I asked the person.
