Chapter 7- Donkey?

I gasped. 

What the hell is going on?

More shots were fired, bullets bursting through the windows, shattering them and digging holes into the walls around us.  

"Mickey!" yelled Kai voice from somewhere,"Get her out of here!"

I felt Mickey take a deep breath from behind me as he grabbed me by the hip and  stood up in a crouching movement, shielding me from the bullets.

"Mickey! What's going on!?" I yelled.

"Just keep moving!" He yelled back, shoving me towards a hallway.

Then, a huge bang was heard and the earth shook.  I smelled smoke and the hallway suddenly got alot hotter.

"Holy hell, was that a bomb!?" I yelled.

"Just keep moving!" Mickey yelled and then I heard everything calm down. Mickey opened a steel door at the very end of the hall and pushed me inside.

"Stay. Inside." He told me with a warning look that I have never seen him wear. I blindly nodded my head and with that he shut the door and I heard it lock from the inside of the door. 

Well that's one high-tech door... I thought

I looked around my surroundings and saw nothing but stuff that have been covered with sheets. I walked over to them and tore the sheets off and gasped. Underneath the sheets were multiple computers that were attached to the security cameras all around the house. Some of them were disabled in black-and-white from the explosion, I'm guessing. 

Then, I saw something I never thought I would see. Scarlet had a two guns shooting  a flood of people coming through the front door. The people coming through the door also had guns but had no time to shoot at Scarlet. Mickey had a gun and was standing in the kitchen back to back with Peter fighting off some of the people in the kitchen. Peter was pulling off some Bruce Lee on the mofo's while Mickey was shooting them like James Bond. 

I glanced at the other camera and saw Tiger fiddling with a small  circular thing he grabbed from his jacket and threw it out the window. Not too soon later, I felt the Earth shake again. I took a wild guess and said it was a bomb. Val was in the same room as Tiger and was using, what looked like, martial arts on every person who came through the door. He even used their own weapons against them like they do in movies. He grabbed ones guys arm, broke it, and then took his gun and shot more people who came through the door.

I looked at the last screen and saw Jack and Kai outside shooting multiple people down. Kai then yelled something and Jack looked at him and shook his head. Kai then smiled and continued shooting like it was nothing. Kai then did the unexpected and called out to the kitchen window and soon I saw a taco flying through the window. I looked back towards the kitchen camera and saw Mickey regaining his place in the kitchen to continue shooting. I looked back at Kai and saw him now eating with one hand and shooting with the other. 

I was enjoying this like watching a movie before I realized that they were killing people, then questions started flowing through my mind.

Shouldn't I find a way to escape?

Am I with the real bad guys?

What am I doing here?

Why'd they kidnap me?

Am I seriously craving a quesadilla? 

Wait- Brain...What? I shook my head and walked over and sat in a chair that was oddly smack in the middle of the room. I brought my knees up to my chest and closed my eyes. Maybe I'm not with the bad guys, after all they have kept me alive all this time and been super duper kind to me. I should just lecture them once they get back about how killing is bad. I heard the gunshots and explosions stop after a while.

Soon I heard the door open and someone stepped inside.  I looked up , ready to lecture them and saw something---Someone I didn't expect. 

A donkey.
