Attacked and Saved

*ANGELA POV*

I was halfway through the book when I felt a presence. I quickly looked up but found nothing. Then a twig snapped, my head snapped towards the direction of the sound as I quickly got up to my feet. My heart was beating a thousand miles per hour. A dark figure came out of the shadows. It was young man, obviously a vampire because the very pale skin was a dead giveaway, with blonde hair and piercing red eyes. He looked familiar though...

"My, my what is a beautiful young human like you doing out here alone?" he asked with a perverted grin. I didn't answer him. He took a step forward and I took a step back. Another forward and I stepped backward. I kept walking backwards until my back hit the royal gates. I'm screwed!

"You're mine now!" he said with an evil grin. I did the first thing that came to my mind.

"DAMON!" I yelled. The mysterious man was behind me in an instant, covering my mouth with his gloved hand. He pulled me to his hard chest.

"You know you want me" he whispered in my ear, the hair on the back of my neck stood up to their limit. A tear ran down my cheek.

"Awww don't be like that" he cooed.

"This will be pleasurable for the both of us" he whispered and planted tender kisses on my delicate neck. Damon please save me. The moment I need him the most, he is not here. Why can't he be here to beat the shit out of this guy, like he did to Aaron.

"Now stay still, this will be over in an instant" he whispered in my ear. I kept struggling. Damon please! I felt his fangs gently on my neck. He was getting ready to bite me. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain.

"ANGELA!" i could faintly hear someone yelling my name before I felt a sharp pain on my arm and my mind went blank.

*BEEP*BEEP*BEEP*BEEP* 

I groaned, that annoying sound is giving me a headache. Then all the memories came rushing back to me. I gasped and sat upright on the bed I was in and I regret it in an instant. Pain overtook my body and I screamed. But then I felt a pair of strong hands pushing me back down. I opened my eyes and came face to face with red ones. Oh no! Is it him, the one who attacked me? I yelled bloody murder, scared for my life.

"ANGELA! Calm down!" I recognized that voice.

"D-Damon?" I stuttered. I opened my eyes and looked at him.

"Damon" I whispered and hugged him tightly. He stiffened, a bit surprised, but then hugged me back. I don't know why but I feel safe beside him. The man who almost killed my brother, who tortured me, the demon who bought me…

"H-How?" I asked. He sighed and pulled away. He looked at me straight in the eye and said:

"I heard you scream the first time. I looked around the mansion for you but I couldn't find you, then I heard you calling for help again, but weird thing was that it was in my head." he stopped and I nodded for him to continue.

"I followed your voice and I ended up here. Then I saw the vampire about to bite you, when I yelled your name and then I ran full speed and pushed you away from … him" he growled.

"But I guess I pushed you too hard because you ended up breaking your arm." I glance at my arm and just realized that it was in a red cast. It was signed by Damon, Damian, Aaron, Maria, Katherine and Alexandra. I read all the get well soon messages.

"Thank you" I said.

"For what?" he asked.

"For saving me of course… ummm Damon?" I asked.

"Humm?" he asked.

"W-what would have happened if he bit me?" I asked.

"You would've turned into a vampire" he said.

"Who was he?" I questioned.

"You don't have to worry about him anymore, trust me" I got the feeling that he didn't want to talk about him. I stayed silent for a while…

"HEY WANNA PLAY 20 QUESTIONS!?!?!?" I squealed out of nowhere.

"What the hell is that?" Damon asked. I explained to him what it was. Let's see if I can get answers out of him...
