A Minecraft Wolf's Story

Chapter 8: Another try.

I woke up to the sound of clanking metal, I lifted my head and saw Ice putting his new iron armor on. "We'er leaving again, sorry you have to hang out with the cat alone today." I huffed then buried my face back into my belly, I felt something warm laying on top of my back.

"You two seem to get along pretty well already." Ice commented then walked out wielding his enchanted iron sword.

I shook the cat off of my back and she hissed, "Hey I was using that!" I narrowed my eyes, "Well now I am."

She gave a sigh of defeat and padded out of the room, "What are those two things?" 

"The horses? have you lived in your cave all of your live or something?" I asked. She shook her head, "I lived in the jungle for a while when I was a kitten.." She objected. "Ill introduce you too, look out Mud-slide is always cranky."

I growled as the cat jumped onto my back and rode me like Ice would a horse. 'What's your name anyways?" She looked up at her new grey box, "Myst? That's what the player calls me anyways." 

"Ice." I corrected. I sat down at the edge of the stable which made Myst tumble off of my back. "Another new kid?" Rein asked.

"Great..." Mud-slide snorted.

"Guys this is Myst, she is my stalker that Ice adopted." I told them. "I am not a stalker!" She snapped. "You followed me home, that's a stalker in my book." I retorted. "Humph."

"Wheres the female that was with you?" Myst asked me. I pointed in the direction of her house and she looked at me expectantly. "Can't you explore yourself?" I sighed.

"I'm not used to being above ground.." she whimpered. I gave in, "Fine follow me."

Myst hoped on her new "horse" and watched as I crossed the bridge and out of the gate. I carefully crossed the cobblestone bridge and padded towards Star's house. I looked up and back and saw Myst holding her head high feeling the wind blow through her fur. 'Enjoying yourself?" She nodded, "I almost forgot how wind felt."

I was about to paw at the door until I was intercepted by something that came around the corner, "I Knew that you would show your face here." 

Myst hopped off of my back and hid behind me, occasionally she  peered at Blitz. "What do you want?" I asked.

"I want you to get out of here, forever." Blitz responded. "You're a bully." Myst hissed.

"Whats that scrap of fur behind you Magic Mutt?" The irritating wolf ask try to look at the cat. "None of your business, leave me alone Blitz."

"Quiet trying to steal my mate from me then." Blitz growled. "She's not your mate." I responded.

The wolf tackled me. "Going to fight me again huh Magic Mutt? I know you want to." I shoved him off of me, "Fighting you is meaningless."

Blitz circled me and his eyes rest open Myst, he licked his lips. "Suit yourself." He sunk his fangs into the cat and threw her. Myst hissed in pain then back away but Blitz followed her, "Stop it!" she warned.

"Whose going to stop me?" He mocked then bit her again. I have had enough, I wasn't going to let him kill Myst even if she was a worthless cat. 

I threw myself at the arrogant wolf and bit him hard, freeing the cat and giving her time to flee. I pinned him to the ground, he looked me straight into the eyes. "I won't leave you alone until you're burning in the nether." He spat. Blitz chomped on my right paw and I lost it. 

My eyes glowed bright and I felt my jaw unhinge and I lowered down to bite his neck. I heard a scream and turned to see Star starring at me in horror. "Ender stop!" she cried.

I folded my ears back and stepped off of him and backed away. He ran to Star's side, "Ender just came here for no reason and tried to kill me."

"N-No Star I didn't you have to believe me." I stammered. She was in to much shock to speak, "Ender you need to learn to control yourself, this is the second time you've tried to kill Blitz..."

"He tried to attack Myst!" I argued. "Whose Myst? see there's no one here except for us Star, hes lying." 

"She ran back to the castle, Here if you follow me I can prove it!" Star looked at me, she hesitantly lifted a paw but then put it back. "I'm sorry Ender, it's hard to trust you sometimes.."

I was extremely hurt at these words, I couldn't take any more of this. I started sprinting back home without looking back, my tears sparkled as they fell to the ground.  WHY CAN'T I BE NORMAL?

I finally made friends with one of my own species then I blew it, was I destined to be secluded from fellow wolves? Was I cursed with this wretched appearance  so i'd be mocked, abandoned, and friendless?

I stormed into the castle with tears streaming from my eyes and my tail between my legs. "Looks like someones in a bad-"

"SHUT UP MUD-SLIDE NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOU!" I snapped as I ran to my room. The horse was taken aback by my harsh words and said nothing else. 

I curled up facing the corner, I didn't even touch my food. I felt a soft paw prod my back and I turned around, "What?"

Myst dropped a fish by me then backed away, "I'm sorry... It was my fault.." I pawed the fish back to her, 'I don't  like fish..but thanks anyways I guess."

Myst looked at her paws, "You hurt him you know.."

"That's what Blitz gets for attacking you, he is a stuck up-" I was cut off when Myst shook her head. "No not that mean wolf...I mean Mud-slide. I can feel others pains, its like my curse. It's none of my business but maybe he would feel better if you apologized.." she whispered.

"Mud-slide doesn't care what I say, he hates me." I retorted. "O-Ok then.. i'm sorry again for getting you in trouble ill leave you alone.."

I saw the cat pad out of the room with her tail drooped and her head hung. I sighed sighed in sorrow, I had to stop this now or i'd lose all of my friends. I took a deep breath and got up, I slowly walked towards the stable where the cocky horse was.

"Look Mud-slide, I'm sorry for snapping at you earlier I was just mad... Lot's of people care about you Myst, Rein, and Ice. I guess I was just jealous." I said.

The horse had his back turned to me, "And?" I looked at him funny, "And what?"

"Well obviously you wouldn't come here and apologize to me if you hated me. I treat you like crap yet here you are, saying you're sorry for something you had every right to do." Mud-slide replied keeping his eyes focused on the wall. Rein watched us curiously from his pen and he neighed.

"Fine I guess I kinda care about you." I muttered. "What was that?" he asked even though I knew he had great hearing. 'I Care about you, I care about you, Rein, Myst, Ice and...Star. You are the closest thing I have to a pack."

I couldn't believe it, Mud-slide turned around and for the first time I saw him smile. "I'm sorry I was rude to you, it's just like it felt like everyone had moved on from Exo and I wasn't ready to."

"Hey, we're your family now Ender." Rein neighed and smirked. I looked at them and almost cried. Don't do it Ender be strong.

I couldn't believe it, I finally had a family again and this time I wouldn't let anything happen to them.
