A Minecraft Wolf's Story

Chapter 12: Mission complete

In the darkness I heard someone calling my name. "Ender...Ender get up! Please Ender!" The voice called around me. I got up and saw nothing only the eerie blackness that surrounded me. All of a sudden a bright light appeared in front of me, I now recognized that it was Stars voice. Her beautiful voice was loudest near the light so I used the rest of my energy to run. 

Go get out of here go to the light!

The voice in my head told me. I closed my eyes for a moment, "I know who you are Exo..." I whispered in my thoughts. 

I went back to running into the light, eventually the light was so bright it was blinding. "Ender!" Star yelled and but this time I could feel her nudging me.

When I woke up I was surrounded by green orbs, I saw the players running towards us. "You did it Ender! Good boy you saved us." Ice cheerfully said and patted my head. I felt him use his health potion on me and I felt better, I looked up to see Star looking at me concerned.

"You ok Endy?" She asked using my old nickname. I sat up and nodded she ran up to me and buried her face into me. "I was afraid you wouldn't make it." 

The Ender Dragons nest turned into a portal back home and a black sword appeared on a pedestal. My master ran up and pick up the sword. "The Ender sword! We got it finally Blaze!" 

Both players ran to see the sword while Star helped me up. "All thanks to your dog Ice." Crystal said smiling.

We all jumped back through the portal and landed in the strong hold. Ice led the way back down the spiral staircase and into the cave we started in. I saw light finally, from the actuall sun. I never thought I'd be happy to be in this Taiga ever again.

The players mounted their horses and started talking about what they were going to do with their sword. Ice suggested they enchanted it with everything and share it. Blaze said they should all fight and who ever won got to keep it.

"No fair we all fought the dragon we should all get to use it." Crystal objected. "Yeah if anyone gets to use it I do my wolf killed it."

"It only seems fair that the one who did the most damage gets to keep it." Blaze replied. "Yeah because you and Blitz totally did SOOO much damage." Crystal muttered.

"We can decide the later, I need to recover first."  Ice said. "Fine." The others sighed.

Ice looked at Mud-Slide, "Gues what? We found Exo." The horse looked at me, "Really? Ender tell me where he is!"

I looked at my paws sheepishly, "Apearently I'm the reincarnation of Exo..." 

"Ender here is Exo." Ice said. The horse just stared at me, "Impossible..."

"Nope it's true." I barked as we trotted across the cobblestone bridge.  "Your crazy." The horse mattered and walked across the bridge to the castle.

"They're back!" Myst purred and ran up to me. "Did you win?" 

I nodded, "Yeah we beat him and got the Ender sword, and I almost died." Ice ruffled my hair fur then padded to the blacksmith room, "Be right back."

I was bombarded with questions from the other animals. "How are you Exo?" "You actually rid the Enderdragon? Cool!"

Ice came out of the room fully healed and armor less. "Alright let's go see who gets the sword." He grabbed onto my collar and I teleported us outside of Crystals house. "Hey Ice welcome back." Crystal told us.

Star ran out of the house and sat by me wagging her tail, "Are you really Exo?"

I shrugged, "I guess, I hear him talk to me sometimes in the back of my head." Star nuzzled into me, "I've missed you." 

I blushed but didn't move, "Still can't trust me..?"

Star shook her head, "I will always trust you, me and Exo were mates so what does that make us?" I wagged my tail, "I'm Ender now, but if you'd led me I want to take over for Exo." She nodded happily and sat beside me, I felt Blitzs gaze burn into me. 

"You two seem to be getting along." Crystal smiled. "We should make our dogs fight, who ever wins gets the sword. Blitz didn't get a chance since Ender was a mob hog." Blaze argued.

 I looked at Star, I couldn't attack her she was my mate. My eyes fell on Blitz, I'd fight him no problem and win for Ice. I barked to alert Ice that I was in, Crystal shook her head in horror. "We can't make them fight.. I refuse to let Star get hurt."

Blaze shrugged, "Crystals out, if you back out Ice I get the sword." Ice narrowed his eyes, "Who made you the rule maker?"

"It's only fair." Blaze replied. Ice looked at me, "Are you in? You don't have to." I barked twice and wagged my tail. 

"Blitz what are you waiting for? Get out there!" He snapped at the wolf. Blitz face me about five blocks away. Crystal ran into her house and got potions, "This isn't a fight to the death."

"Go." Blaze ordered and Blitz launched himself at me. I transported out of harms way then lashed back at him. I jumped and bit him in his side, taking about two of his ten hearts. He retaliated by shoving me away then biting my paw. 

Me and the wolf circled each other growling. I teleported several times confusing him then rammed into him. I bit him twice, he had about two hearts left. "That's enough, Ender." Ice ordered and I backed away.

"Blitz you lost you dumb excuse for a dog!" Blaze screeched. Blitz didn't stop, he limped over to me and bared his fangs. "Blaze control him!" Crystal yelped. "I don't care about him he's not my dog anymore." Blaze replied and stormed off.

I lightly bit the wolf, leaving him with one heart. "Leave now or I'll have to kill you." I growled.

Blitz padded to me emotionless, "Why would I care? You stole my mate and my master hates me. You've ruined my life!" He howled and launched himself at me. 

I took a powerful paw and slammed the weak wolf to the ground, he had half of a heart left. Crystal ran up with a lead and through it around Blitz's neck. "Bad Blitz!"

I backed away and was greeted by Star, "Thanks for not killing him." I licked her, "It wasn't worth it."

I heard crazy barking from the fence post Blitz was tied up to. Crystal came back and fed me, "You won, Ice you get the Sword."

Ice ruffled my ears, "I'm proud of you Ender, let's go home." I turned to look at Star, "What's going to happen to Blitz?"

"Crystal is giving him back to Blaze.." She responded. We watch as Crystal untied Blitz from the pole and he slunk over to Blaze. Blaze wouldn't even look at him, he was a terrible owner.

It was nearly a blur, Blitz lay on the ground, dead. Blaze had mercilessly struck the wolf down, he didn't deserve a fate like that.

"Blaze what in the name of Notch are you doing!?" His sister screeched. "He was worthless anyways."

Ice nudged me away, "Cmon.. Nothing we can do." I took one last glance then followed my master home.
