L U S T
Shawn storms into the doors hoping that what he has don't won't affect him too bad. He nearly slips upon the fluorescent floors that lead him to his yogurt shop.
"Hey, boss was looking for you. Bad first impression." One of the cashiers spoke to Shawn, the name tag labeling, 'Jacob.' Shawn nods and steps behind the counter that folds up so he could get to the back.
He walks in with a shaky feeling, as if he's about to do a presentation or walking in the gates on the first day of school. This was his first job after all. "Mr. Mendes." A tone came from behind him. "H-hello." Shawn replies.
"Explanation?" The upper figure of Shawn asks tapping his toe on the tile. Shawn doesn't say anything but point at his hand. "Commute today was tough." Shawn sighs.
"We can't have you work like that." Mr. Bound tells Shawn. He crosses his arms and glares at him. "I'm so sorry. You might not take sympathy but I need this job. It's all I've got. I don't have people to take care of me everyday. I need this." Shawn begs.
The boss paces himself around the office. "I suppose. But since you're already an hour late with a wound, please clean up and take the shift after Jacob." Shawn is feeling stoke on the inside he could hug the man in front of him but can't, good impression is in need.
"So I'll be back in...?" Shawn starts off for his boss to finish, "Come back in two hours is that okay? You'd be finished by the time the mall is almost closed." Shawn nods and walks out the back door.
Taylor spots Shawn and immediately grabs his yogurt cup and leaves, he doesn't pay for it because he didn't want Shawn to know he was still here. But to himself he thought, "Pshh.. Well, I'm just here to waste time so I can pick up the kid and leave." But he knew very well himself that, he lives right behind Orchid Mall anyways.
He follows Shawn a little closer and he sees that Shawn goes to the communication desk, a spot in the mall where it's the making lobby in which everyone makes their complaints or questions.
Assumption that there would be a a clinic there he goes in for an attempt to ask for healing. Taylor looses sight of Shawn after he gets into a back room for his clean up.
"Do I want or do I flake?" Taylor thinks to himself. He realizes that he should just shop until Shawn gets off his shift.
Moments go by throughout the few hours as Taylor remembers that Shawn should be done by six since it was a four hour job to start with. He doesn't have Shawn's number so it would be decent to just go to the shop and tell Shawn to go home.
He slips himself through the glass frames as he grabs himself a cup, making it seem like he want waiting for Shawn.
There's this guy who's at the register that is seeming to gain a lot of attention from Shawn as Shawn goes about stuttering and having a shifty hand while touching the pad at the register.
"Want to go somewhere after this?" The guy asks. Shawn smiles innocently and before he could speak, Taylor barges in to the conversation.
"Shawn. Ready to go?" Taylor asks with an obvious grin. Shawn furrows his eyebrows with confusion. The guy looks away from Shawn so Shawn takes his chance to give Taylor a rude look.
"What? You asked for me to ride you home- I mean, you wanted a ride from me, oh gosh. You know what I mean." Taylor grimaces with embarrassment as he licks the spoon of the unpaid yogurt.
The guy who was standing in between them appears awkward. "I take your busy. Next time, kid." The stranger leaves with a short wave, not getting his receipt from Shawn.
