P L A T O N I C

"Taylor! Taylor! Taylor!" Shawn sits Taylor's hips and rocks his body back and forth. "Oh boyfriend! Wake up. I know you're tired but it's a new day!" Shawn calls out. "One minute." Taylor groans. "Mhmp... I'm going to sleep again then." Shawn sighs.

Moments later, Taylor actually regains consciousness as he looks over to see Shawn sleeping. Either that moment earlier didn't happen or Shawn actually fell sleep. He still fell for the kid anyways. So much that he wanted to surprise his new boyfriend with amazing morning breakfast, and we don't speak inappropriate here.

When Taylor gets downstairs he meets his mom there making warm coffee that was bearable to smell by the stairs. "Morning, son. I've got a few words for you." She says calm and Taylor grows nervous. Maybe it's because she knows about the car crash or the dispute with his father. "Yes, mommy."

"Shawn is up there isn't he?" She smirked. "I like him. He seems really humble. He's amazing. By what I know of. So are you guys just friends?" She asks and Taylor grows really red and nervous. "I like him too." He winks at his mom without any other words and just shrugs. She tightens her robe and leaves.

Taylor turns on the oven and puts a flat pan on the stove. From the YouTube tutorials he watched the previous night, he thinks he's almost certain that he will make a decent breakfast. He wants to make Shawn chocolate chip pancakes, sausages, and muffins.

After looking back at the recipes he makes the batter. Creamy, he hopes Shawn would love. Chocolate chips thrown in just as the batter stirs smoothly. The sound sizzles. He grabs a second pot for his long sausages. Then the baking pan to put in muffin batter that he got from pre-made boxed muffins.

"Ah. Shawn will love me." Taylor moans to himself as he adjusts all his food on a wooden tray. He grabs the metal stand that will be adjusted over Shawn's lap so the tray will be rested on it.

Taylor slowly walks up stairs and has a full container of orange juice in his gap of rib cage and bicep. The door slides open quietly as he places the food on the bed. He opens up the metal clasp and puts the tray on it. "My baby? Oh munchkin. Babe?" Taylor pokes at Shawn's cheeks.

Shawn's eyes flutter as he stretches all his limbs and props his body against the headrest. "Morning Taylor. I'm still sleepy." Shawn yawns and cuddles his blankets. "But I have breakfast for a beautiful baby." Shawn's head tilts over to where the food is. "Oh that's for me?" He says surprised.

"Yes love. Here. Sit upright." Taylor puts the stand over Shawn's legs and hands him orange juice and utensils. "Eat up. You need energy for your noggin when doing homework." Shawn giggles at his word choice and eats away. "You're so good." Shawn smiles with his eyes shut as he licks the fork with the left over syrup. Remember, he's never really eaten good or had anyone cook for him.

"I'm so happy with you." Shawn says taking a bite from his muffin. "Want some? You need to eat some too." Shawn flaunts a piece of the sausage at Taylor's face. "No, no. I already ate some while making it for you."

Shawn throws the blanket over his back and puts the tray to his side and closes the little stand. He finishes his food that's now directly on his lap while Taylor takes a shower.

With Shawn finished eating he grabs his backpack and takes out all his homework. The food tray is left on the floor in hopes that Taylor knows to clean it up later.

Taylor comes out steaming and bare with only a towel on. And it isn't cliche. He just changes while Shawn is too busy working on the assignments. "Hey. Taylor? Do you understand any of this?" Shawn asks.

The older boy plops his body next to Shawn as he grabs the paper. "I'm not very bright." Taylor yawns and just stares blank. "I'll look at my notes." Shawn eventually understands his work as he gets to working.
