•Chapter Four• His Parents?

~Jen's POV~

I couldn't believe Pat invited me to his house. It's gonna be nice to learn about each other. I'm kind of hoping he lives alone..even though he's not 18 yet. As me and Pat were walking together, I noticed something touching my hand. I looked down at my hand and noticed Pat was touching it. He smiled at me and then looked down at the ground. I clinched his hand as he lead the way to his house. 

~WHOAOAAOOAOA TIME SKIP~

We made it to Pat's house and he let go of my hand, I frowned a little, and I think he noticed. He laughed at me. "Oh come on Jen" he said as he smiled at me. He walked to his door and unlocked it. He held open the door for me, and I smiled. I went in his house to see his parents, they looked in their mid-thirties. "Hi Mr. and Mrs....." I looked at Pat. "Brown" (Not his actual last name, Jen said it wasn't on twitter :P) he whispered to me. "Brown" I said. They gave me a pretty dirty look. "Who is this...?" His mother said as she looked at Pat. Pat looked at me and said.. "Uhh, my friend" he said quietly. I was kind of upset, but I knew we couldn't be dating already.  They then looked at me and sighed. "She better not be your girlfriend, not in this house.." My face turned pale red. No girlfriend? I thought. Don't you want your child to be happy with someone they love? Pat must have noticed I was kind of confused, and embarrassed. "Sorry, should I just leave?" I said quietly. Pat looked at me and shook his head. "No...why don't we just go to the park, or do you want to go to your house?" He said quiet enough that his parents wouldn't hear. "My...my house please.." I said. Pat smiled and looked at his parents. "I'm gonna go study with Jen" He lied. His mom sighed in relief. "Good, get your grades up" She said. I went out the door, with Pat following me. We walked to my house, still holding hands.

~Pat's POV~

We made it to Jen's house. She opened the door. I quickly got in front of her and held it open. She giggled "Pat, you don't have to hold the door for me!" She said. I nodded "Yeah I dooooo" I said playfully. Jen walked in her house and I followed her. She went upstairs and showed me her room. All I can really say is...a lot of pink.. She smiled and said "Yup, pink. It's my favorite color" I laughed "Yeah I can see that" I said. Everything went silent for a second. "Sooooooo....were are your parents?" I said. Jen seemed to frown a little. "Umm..." she said quietly and nervously. "Probably in Britain by now.." she continued. "Oh.." I said. Everything went silent again. I reached out and hugged her. "I'm sorry to hear." I said. She hugged me back and shrugged. "Its fine..as long as I have you" She smiled and broke the hug. "Soo what do you want to do?" I said, I noticed she had a computer in her room. She shrugged again. "We could watch something together.." I smiled and nodded. "Sure." We went to her computer, and turned on YouTube.
