•Chapter Six• Getting Between Us

~Pat's POV~

I couldn't believe what I just had did. I tried to get it off my mind. "Let's go back home." Jen said with a shrug. I got up and waited for her to stand up. She noticed me and got up after me. I looked at the ground, then Jen. She was so beautiful. She actually grabbed my hand. I looked at her in shock. "Hey, gotta make a move." She said with a smile. We walked back to my house and I heard her sigh. "What's up?" I asked her. She didn't seem to want to tell me, so I didn't force her to. We walked in the house to still see my parents. They saw us holding hands and their faces turned pale red. "I thought she was just your friend.." my mom said with an eyeroll.

I just went silent.

"Well?" my mom continued.

"Technically... she still is. She isn't my girlfriend." I said to her. I don't think that made her feel any better.. Her face seemed to twitch a little. "But I know you're thinking about it, don't even" She said angrily. I sighed in anger. "We don't allow that in this house." She continued. Jen seemed to be pretty upset. "You know what.." I said. "You're not in control of me. I'm my own person" I said with my voice shouting a little bit. "And... and if you can't let me do what I want, I might as well move out." My mom shrugged. "Get the hell out my house then." Jen shook me and whispered. "Stop, where will you live?" I just shrugged and talked in a somewhat quieter and deeper voice. "I'll find somewhere."

I'm just doing this for Jen.. 

~Jen's POV~

I watched as Pat went into his room and started packing things up. "You can s..stay with me if you'd like..." I said quietly. He nodded "Thanks" he said. "Anytime love." He raised his eyebrow and stared at me. "Love..?" he asked. I nodded. "Sorry, I call people I like that..." Pat smiled. "Oh" he said happily. I went over to him and kissed his cheek. He blushed and smiled more.

Pat finished packing, and already has all his stuff at my house. I'm not sure how my parents will feel about this, but it's not like they'd be home in a while. I showed him around the house while we got a phone call. "Hello.." he said somewhat angrily. I heard his mom's voice. "I don't care about who's house you're in, you're still not dating her." He hung up and smiles. "Whatever" he said. I finished showing him around and smiled. I'm glad we're taking step, but we'll have to do something about his parents...
