The underground people have magic powers. The powers vary from person to person, and you only get them when you turn like 16 or something. Jamy's 15. They're kind of like Legacies from I Am Number Four.
On a kind of random note, everyone who sees Jamy thinks he's a girl. My babysittee yesterday, my grandma today... grr. It's the long hair. I know it. Maybe he should get a hair cut... Nah. Jamy's Jamy. He won't cut his hair.
