A/n: Hey guys, so this one shot was written by some friends and I. We wrote it in sections so after the first person was done the next person could take the next part of the story anywhere. My friend Amme started then Tiffany had it then me and then Kelly ended it. Have fun reading it because we had fun writing it.

Patrick walked along the pavement that led to Joe's house. It is two years into Fall Out Boy's hiatus, which means that it's been about a year and half since he and Joe last talked. Patrick wasn't even sure if randomly showing up at Joe's doorstep was a good idea, considering the reason they stopped talking in the first place.

Pete and Patrick had always had a thing for each other, until Joe told Patrick how he felt about him. It was from that moment on, Patrick realized that Joe was the one for him. Not wanting to break Pete's heart by telling him, Patrick decided to sneak around with Joe behind Pete's back. When Pete found out, that meant bad news for the band. They called for a hiatus and Joe and Patrick continued their relationship with Pete out of the picture.

Six months into the hiatus, Joe had caught Patrick with Pete. Joe was so sick of having to be in a love triangle and decided to leave. Patrick has been a mess ever since. He thought time would heal his wounds, but he has never been more wrong in his life.

Now that he was standing in front of Joe's door, he wanted nothing more than to just take back everything that had happened between them so he could start fresh, but it was too late for that.  Patrick raised his hand and hesitated for a moment before tentatively knocking on the door.

At first, no one answered and Patrick thought that maybe Joe wasn't home.  He turned away and began walking back towards the street when he heard the door open behind him.  Patrick turned around and looked at the man he was still hopelessly in love with, and what he saw hurt more than he could have possibly imagined.

Pain was etched across Joe's face, he wore the same expression as the night he had caught Pete and Patrick together a year and a half ago.  It hurt Patrick's heart to see Joe like this, but what hurt the most was knowing that it was all his fault.

Patrick stood patiently, staring at the man he loved, waiting for him to say something.  They stood there for what seemed like hours but Joe remained silent.

"Can you please leave?" Joe asked. Patrick could see the pain deepen in Joe's face.

"Can I Ple...," Patrick began but was cut off by a woman who appeared in the doorway asking Joe to who was there. She was a very attractive woman and what she carried on her hip made Patrick's heart drop. A small baby dressed in pink that couldn't be more than three months old.

"Hey Marie," he said "it's just an old acquaintance, but he's leaving."

Marie looked Patrick over. "Joe i know he isn't just an acquaintance. I don't live under a rock," she said, "Patrick feel free to come inside, I was just about to take Ruby to the pediatrician for a checkup anyway."

Patrick felt a numbness wash over him as he stepped into the house.  Wordless, he watched the woman, Marie, kiss Joe goodbye and step out the door and out of sight with the baby.  Joe's baby.

Neither said anything for a solid minute, Patrick staring brokenly at Joe, and Joe awkwardly trying to avoid eye contact.

"I don't know what to say," Patrick uttered out finally, breaking the silence.

"Then don't say anything," Joe replied harshly, only looking at Patrick to glare at him.

"Joe."  Patrick winced when his voice cracked.  "I didn't mean it.  You know I didn't mean it."

"It doesn't matter anymore, Patrick."  Joe sounded like he was choking out the name.  "I've moved on, as you can see."  He stretched out an arm to gesture around the living room, baby toys scattered around the floor, and a family picture hanging over the fireplace.  Patrick felt like he was going to throw up.

"Get out."  Patrick didn't even register the words as he felt himself being pushed out the door, the lock clicking behind him.

"I-I didn't... I didn't mean it," he mumbled to himself, feeling the realization hit him like a train.  Suddenly, a wave of anger and injustice overtook him, and he spun around on his heel, kicking his foot into the wood door.

"You know what, fuck you!" he screamed at the unsympathetic house.  "I don't fucking need you, and I never fucking did!"  With that, Patrick turned around and began to run.  Where, he didn't know, but he just needed to get the hell away from the house, from Joe, and never look back.

He ran until the pain in his lungs was unbearable, until the houses had faded and he had no idea where he was.  He didn't care.  Finally, his legs gave out from under him and he just let himself drop to the ground.

That was when the tears came.

The first was just a single tear down his cheek, until it erupted into a full episode of sobbing.  He knew he looked fucking pathetic, a grown man crying a puddle in the middle of the sidewalk, but he couldn't find it in himself to get up.  That was when a voice came from above him.

"Oh my god, are you okay?"  It was a female, Patrick could tell.  He sat up with a start, furiously wiping the tears away from his face.  The girl was kneeling next to him, her dark hair pulled up and a worried crease in her brow.  She was really pretty.

"I-I'm f-fine," Patrick stuttered out, very obviously not fine.  The girl didn't seem very convinced.

"Let me help you," she said with a smile, holding out a hand to help Patrick up.  "My name's Elisa."

Suddenly, Patrick had a feeling he could get over Joe.
