The only thing in the way of Patrick and the tour bus, was the downpour outside. The show ended almost an hour ago, but Patrick was still wiping sweat from his brow. Patrick watched as the rain hit against the concrete of the parking lot, and couldn't help to let his mind wander to someone who he had been thinking about a lot lately.

Joe Trohman. One of his best friends in the world, and the main reason that Patrick was standing were he is now. Without Joe there would have never been Fall Out Boy. There would be no millions of adoring fans. Most importantly though, he would have never meet Elisa. Patrick was complete head over heels for her. She was his everything, that was until Elisa kicked him to the curb three months ago. Patrick was always gone on tours and playing shows, and in his time being gone Elisa had found companionship in someone else. Patrick almost cancelled the tour they were currently on because of his hurting heart.

Elisa may have broken Patrick's heart, but Joe was there soon after to help mend it. Of course, Patrick was convinced that Joe had no clue that Patrick was developing feelings for him. Patrick was the type who didn't flirt outwardly. He was awkward when it came to stuff like that. His hands would get sweaty and shaky, and he would lose the capability to speak, so he just convinced himself that Joe was nothing more than a friend.

Holding his guitar case in one hand, Patrick placed his other hand on his fedora to keep it from flying off his head as he ran to the bus. When he finally reached the bus Patrick was completely soaked from head to toe.

Pete and Andy had already been on the bus for at least half an hour now so Patrick wasn't surprised to find them in front of the large TV in the main space of the bus playing Grand Theft Auto.

"Andy what are you doing, you're supposed to shoot the guy," Pete shouted at Andy.

"Well he didn't do anything to me," Andy replied with a small grin. Andy was always pushing Petes buttons.

Patrick looked around the bus, but as usual Joe was still not on the bus, and they were leaving now in 10 minutes.

Patrick grabbed a towel to dry his hair when he heard a voice calling for him outside.

"Patrick" the voice called. The rain made it hard to tell, but Patrick knew it was Joe who was calling for him. Patrick walked to the door to the bus and peered out to see that Joe was still standing inside the door to the venue.

"Joe come on, we leave in 8" Patrick said.

"I don't want to get my fro  wet Pat." Joe called back. Patrick felt a twang in his chest. God how he loved it when Joe called him Pat. Patrick shook the feeling away.

"Seriously Joe, we need to get a move on if we are going to play in Chicago tomorrow." Pat told him "Plus your hair good use a good washing anyway.."

"Fine" Joe whined. Joe began to run toward the bus, he made it halfway there when he tripped in one of the parking lots pot holes.

Patrick ran out of the bus to help Joe, he didn't care if he got wet more than he already was.

"Are you okay Joe?" Patrick asked as he helped him up off the ground.

"Yeah I'm fine, just being my clumsy self," Joe replied. The two men were now standing face to face.

Patrick could feel his face going red. He basically has spent all his life with this dork that was standing in front of him, but now the feelings that Patrick had been bottling up these past few months surfaced and he for once didn't have shaky hands or legs. He knew exactly what he wanted. He wanted Joe.

Joe was a good few inches taller than Patrick, but that didn't stop him from standing on his tip-toes and smashing his lips into Joes. Patrick could feel that Joe was shocked from the sudden act of affection. After a few seconds though Joe moved his hands up to cup Patrick's face. Patrick reached up and tangled his fingers into Joe's hair and pulled him harder into the kiss. The kiss began to get heated. Their hands flew everywhere trying to explore the new territory, and at some point Joe accidentally knocked Patrick's fedora onto the ground.

It may have only been a few seconds, but Patrick swore he could have been standing there for years kissing Joe in the pouring rain and quite frankly he would not mind if he could in this state for the rest of eternity.

The two were suddenly separated when Pete appeared in the doorway of the bus and shouted, "WOAH that's  wild Patrick WIIILLLLLDDD!"

Patrick looked back to Joe and gave him a smaller not as passionate kiss.

"Hey you two, we need to go, like now'" Pete giggled.

Patrick knew that it was time to leave, but he didn't want to, he wanted to stay in the rainfall with Joe, but they had a show in Chicago in 12 hours and they really needed to leave right then if they wanted to make it in time.

Joe bent down and picked Patrick's complete water filled fedora and placed it gently back onto Patrick's head.

"Shall we?" Joe asked reaching his hand out to Patrick. Patrick couldn't help but smile as he reached for Joes hand.

"We shall." Patrick said with a stupid grin.
