Chapter 2

Cody's pov

   I could hear the roar of the crowd in the arena. I peaked in front of the curtain and saw Alli and Kelsey sitting in the front row. I smiled.  I was glad that I had finally talked to Kelsey and that we could become friends again and this time stay in touch.

     When it was time for the show to start I got on stage and started the show with more energy than I've ever had. I could see Alli and Kelsey have fun laughing together every time I looked over at them. I could tell they definitely were closer than before I became famous. They were almost inseparable you could say.

        The concert was almost over and I was about to sing the last song.

        "Ok guys I just want to thank you all for coming and for being such great fans. I hope you like this song it's called wish you were here" I said and started the song. as soon as I was finished I went offstage and texted Alli.

not even a minute later I got a reply.

Already coming

Alli

About 5 minutes the door to my dressing room opened up and I turned around expecting Alli and Kelsey but it was just my producer Shawn.

         "Hey Cody good job tonight. just wanted to say good job and see you tomorrow" he said 

         "Thanks. Oh and have you seen my sister anywhere she was supposed to be coming back here with my friend?" I asked him

          "No haven't seen her but it's a zoo out there so it may be awhile before they can get back here" he said and left.

Another 5 minutes went by and Kelsey and Alli still hadn't shown up. I was getting impatient so I decided to text Alli again.

Hey where r u I’ve been waiting

Cody

              "Right here."

I turned around to see Alli and Kelsey standing in the door to my dressing room.

           "What took you guys so long?" I asked

        "well every time we started walking people wouldn't stop asking us to have our backstage passes" Kelsey said

        "And then they started following us so we had to walk around for a while and try to lose them. When we did we came straight here." Alli said

    "Well we can't hang out here too much longer so we could head back home and hang out for a bit" I suggested.

        "Sure let’s go" Kelsey said

 I lead the way out of the dressing room. The arena was still packed with people so we went out back where the limo was waiting. After the ride back to Alli and my house we got out and went inside. We decided just to watch a movie. We decided to watch The chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.

We all sat down and started watching the movie.

Kelsey's pov

     As soon as we chose the movie all I could think of was 4 years ago when Cody got the call about recording his demos.

         "Hey guys do you remember the last time we watched this movie?" I said

          "Umm no the last we actually watched a movie was so long ago" Alli said

          "Well it was the day Cody got the call that they wanted him to record his demos." I said

           "Oh ya I remember Alli and I were fighting over what movie to watch and then you just walked over between us and grabbed a random movie and it was this one" Cody said laughing.

            While we watched the rest of the movie we talked about old times and the fun we had. The movie was finally over.

"Hey Kelsey you busy tomorrow?" Cody asked

"Umm no why?"

"well tomorrow is my last day here until I have to go back to America and I was wondering if you could do me a favour and maybe we could go to the beach or something again?" Cody asked

"Ya but what is this favour?" I asked

"You'll see" He said and closed the door and went back inside.

       The next day Cody and Alli showed up at my house around 8am and were dressed for the beach.

          "So I guess I have to wait to find out what this favour is" I said

               "Yup we have to enjoy our last day together and that is starting with going to our favourite place the beach." Cody said pulling me out the door.

When we got to the beach Cody made me close my eyes because he said he had a present for me.  I opened my eyes and saw a surfboard there was plaid purple and in small white writing I saw my name was written on the bottom.

                   "Wow Cody this is really nice but I don't know how to surf" I said

                  "That’s why you are going to learn" He said grabbing my surfboard and his and ran towards the water.

                 '"Oh so that’s why you wanted to go to the beach" I said running after him

After 3 hours of surfing lessons I was exhausted I was finally kind of figuring out how to surf but I was still nowhere near as good as Cody. We were walking back to my house when Cody said.

               "You know you're not that bad at surfing but you have to promise me you will keep practicing because when I come home again we are going surfing." He said

I laughed and said “I'll try but I can't promise you anything"

We got back to my house and I was anxious to know what this favour was.

                            "Ok so what is this favour?" I asked Cody

                              "I can't think of anyone better to do this cause you know me better than anyone. I was wondering if you would design an outfit for me to wear at my next interview and maybe even one for my next concert" He said

I was speechless I didn't know what to say.

                                 "Wow Cody I would love to I can't wait! but you do realize I won't have it done by tomorrow." I said

                                  "Ya I totally get that but If you could you get my measurements and that today then you could start working on it. the interview isn't for about 3 weeks and the concert can be whenever you can get it done" He told me

                               "Well than let’s get started" I said and we went down to my design studio in the basement.
