Chapter 8- Partying= Blackouts, Ryan= Boyfriend?

My phone buzzed at ten that night, I looked and smiled when it said it was from Lexy.

Where the hell r u?!

I smiled and stuffed my phone in my purse and walked out the door after checking my reflection of course. I was wearing black skinny jeans, black stiletto boots, and a red blouse; the only reason it was showy and Mom probably wouldn't approve is that when I rose my arms over my head it showed my stomach and my tattoo when I got sucked into a gang when I was thirteen and lived in New York. I walked into the elevator and had just pressed the PENTHOUSE button when a hand stopped the door from completely closing; once again it was Ryan.

"Y'know you've got to stop doing that, I don't want to have to take you to the ER to get stitches. It freaks me out, seriously." I scolded him, he smiled as the doors opened and we walked out; we started walking towards the end of the hall where I could hear pop and hip hop music coming from, there was also a security guard standing there with a clip board.

"What, the sight of blood makes you faint?" He asked, I shook my head and looked at him.

"No, hospitals do."

"Oh, yeah me too." Ryan said, we came up to the security guard and gave him our names.

"Go on in." He said in a deep voice; we smiled and thanked him.

"Man that guy gives me the creeps." Ryan said, I shuddered and leaned into his side to squeeze past people nearly blocking the door.

"Yeah, same here." I said I leaned away from him as we walked farther into the pent house.

"Well we're agreeing on something, do you want a beer or do you not drink?" He asked, I smiled as I spotted Lexy; she gave me a waggle of her eye brows then a thumbs up, I laughed and nodded.

"A beer sounds great, just make sure it is beer okay?"

"Aww, your no fun. I'm kidding!" He hurriedly said as I gave him a look then he was off to get drinks, I quickly walked over to Lexy and smiled.

"Hey, Lex." I greeted; she turned to me and smiled.

"Hey! It's about time you got here, I want you to meet someone." She said, I smiled and followed her through the crowds of people. "Bella, this is my guy friend Jake. Jake this is my best friend Bella, y'know the one I was telling you about?"

"Oh, hi! It's like so good to finally meet you, omg! So like this is a great girl and she just couldn't stop talking about you, it's like 'oh my god, would you shut up for like five seconds?!' But she knows I'm just kidding, so it's totally okay!" He squealed, I just opened my mouth but only a laugh came out.

"Um, that's cool. What's with the plants and stuff?" I asked, Alexis opened her mouth but Jake stopped her.

"Oh, let me honey. So I was watching a home and garden show and this is what we did. We took the outdoors in and the indoors out." He explained, I looked out a nearby window and saw a lounge on the balcony.

"Oh, yeah. That's cool." I said.

"Totally, I'm gonna go get drinks Lex, I'll be back ciao." When he was gone both Lexy and I busted out laughing.

"Oh my god, is he gay or something?" I asked, Lexy nodded while covering her mouth.

"Yeah, I'm hoping Justin will come."

"And see you with another guy and get jealous?"

"Well, yeah! I have to do something to get his playboy attention." She huffed, I smiled and laughed.
