"Perfect." I smiled.
I walked over and pulled out a seat for Arthur offering him the chair. He blushed but took my offer. I carefully pushed his chair in then sat in the other chair across from him.
"My name is Lily." The waitress said with a sweet voice. "Would you like something too drink?"
"An earl grey tea please." Arthur asked with a lazy smile on his face.
"Alright! And you sir?" She asked turning to me.
"May I have a Coke?" I asked.
"Sure thing!" She smiled. "I'll be back with your drinks soon."
Lily left leaving the two alone.
"So Mr. Kirkland what would you like to talk about?" I smiled asking honestly.
"Oh well Mr. Jones what are different things you like to do?" He asked.
Alright it was now or never!
"Well I love playing sports like soccer and football." I answered.
"You mean football and rugby?" He questioned.
"No soccer and football." I continued.
"Why do you call it soccer? It's football." He protested.
"Because we already have football." I continued.
"Team?" He questioned with a smile.
"America!"
"England!"
We looked to each other glaring but still with smiles.
"Alright now your turn to ask a question." He smiled.
"Superheroes." I began.
"Capt. America!"
"Iron man!"
Our jaws dropped hearing the others.
"D..do you ship it?" I asked curiously.
"D...do you?" He asked.
"Maybe." I mumbled blushing.
"Maybe." He responded.
Broad smiled spread across our faces only to be shocked back to reality by Lily walking in.
"Here you go a Coke and a earl grey tea." She smiled placing them down. "Now do you know what you want to order?"
We both paled realizing we've had the menus for over 5 minutes and didn't even open them.
"Oops.." I mumbled giving a small grin.
"We'll need a few more minutes." Mr. Kirkland responded politely.
"Right of course." She smiled and dashed off.
