Lily placed the food I front of us then offered to fill our drinks. I gave a fake smile and accepted the offer. She dashed off then came back moments later with our drinks. Finally she left for good.
"So... Arthur?" I began with a genuine smile.
"Y..yes Alfred." He stuttered.
"I was wondering if you wanted to come to my house after dinner?" I offered.
"Oh well I'm not sure." He mumbled.
"Please I insist." I continued.
"Well if it's only for a bit I see no problem." He blushed.
"Of course I'm sure it won't be for too long." I shrugged. "Unless you want it to be." He blushed at my words bringing me joy inside. "So then Arthur what are you eating?" I asked curious.
"O..oh fish and chips." He mumbled. "Here." He said softly cutting a piece of the fish and offering it to me on his fork.
I leaned forward carefully putting my mouth on the fork and pulled the food off. I smiled doing so. The fish actually tasted really good. I swallowed it down and looked back to Arthur. "It was really good. I like it." Said softly.
"Good I'm glad you do." He grinned back.
After a while more of talking about the different things we love too do we finally finished the meal. I payed our tab and offered my arm to escort him out. "My car is parked outside let's go yes?" I suggested.
"Of course I would love too." He smiled back to me hugging my arm slightly.
We walked back and got into the car then began to drive home.
