I stayed after class in hopes to talk to Mr. Kirkland. Once all the other students left I walked up behind him sliding my arms around his waist.
"Hey babe." I whispered in his ear.
"Yes love?" He laughed.
"Why are you talking to him?" I asked pouting.
"I have to talk to him. He's my co-worker besides all I am going to do is eat dinner with him." Arthur said softly brushing me off. "You need to be more careful love. If someone sees us I could get in trouble."
"Sorry." I mumbled annoyed that I was being neglected.
"Don't be." He said softly turning to me. He pulled his collar down a little bit. "You know the marks won't leave." I looked to his skin to see light purple marks still there.
"Oops." I blushed.
"Don't I loved it." He whispered back into my ear.
"Mon ami!" The French man called from the door.
Arthur took a step back and turned to him. "Oh your ready to go?" He smiled. That was the smile he should be giving to me.
"Oui. Let us go." The French man smiled. "Ah good bye Alfred." He smiled.
"Bye Alfred." Arthur smiled to me. He gave me a wink then turned to the Frenchman. They left together leaving me standing in the class room alone.
