Skin paler than the luminous glow of the moon. Yet it wasn't the beautiful pale we obtained it was a pallid chalky white. The paper skin smooth surface of his face inviting me in as I reached forward to place my warm hand on his white cheek. I felt mortified as they all marvelled the plush red glow my cheeks had. It looked so easy to just tear at his ancient features. Like his face was so thin I could accidentally rip the surface. For that I was afraid.

So utterly terrified I had to do everything in my might to stop the scream rippling through my tightly seamed lips. The crimson blood of his pupils lit up at the scenes I projected to his mind.

A series of memories, flickering past his inside world of torture and fun. It was a beautiful thing really-although he craved after it for such loathsome reasons.
After concluding sharing my wondrous gift, a chuckle of enthusiasm bound from his tongue, sending a ferocious chill down my neck.

  "Renesmee Carlie Cullen" he purred.

How could my name sound so wrong—so feeble in his tone. With a flash, he took a stride forward. I wouldn't have seen it if I wasn't concentrating so hard: he was too quick.

Leisurely, he crouched down enough to be at my level. I heard my father step forward cautiously at Aros contiguous position toward me. He put his lips to my ear and whispered tauntingly.

"One day-I will come for you and I will make sure you are dealt with-whether it be tomorrow or millenniums after-I shall find you Renesmee Cullen." He threatened taking a pause to acknowledge the shivering down my back, before  continuing,

"Don't take it personal, it's just your a threat to our society; a world we spent thousands of years perfecting-it's your fathers incompetence to blame really."
I scoffed at his tone.

How could the warmness still posses his voice when such venom left his mouth?

"Remember the name Aro-remember my icy touch and my vermillion eyes for they shall haunt your dreams for eternitys after-for they shall be the last pair of eyes you ever see." He spat before resuming over to his place beside Marcus, Caius and the rest of his treacherous vampire army.

"There shall be no fight today my friends-there shall be no fight: today....." Aro announced before disappearing so fast into the woods their imagery was but a blur.

Throwing the sweaty quilt off of me, I screamed into my pillow as the sobs broke out into immediate cries for help. My mother bound into the room and saw the tears in my eyes and the sweat trickling down my burning forehead. Almost immediately I was cradling in her arms. The icy temperature didn't bother me, by now it felt like home.

We lay there until the break of dawn and even then I didn't want to leave her motherly embrace. Our serene silence was disturbed by a tapping on the window. I shrugged out of my mothers hold and unhooked the window latch.

Within seconds, Jacob leapt through the open window, landing agilely on my bedroom floor with a thud.

I was met with a tight, whole hearted embrace as I melted into his boulder like arms. Crashing my lips into his, I heard him gasp at the coldness of my mouth.

Eagerly, I wrapped my legs around his waist and pushed him into the walls. Our tongues fought for dominance as we tug of warred. Jolts of electricity sparked alive inside me, sending tingles down my fingertips as I held his face in mine.

My arms tightened around his neck-too tightly. Suddenly I threw myself across the room. I screamed in fury. Why couldn't I control myself?

There were so many reasons why I shouldn't be doing this. One of them being my mother was still sitting on the bed-her expression now shocked and sympathetic at the same time . It was times like this that made me wonder how much control I had with Jacob.
