"Nessy.." A low murmur tickled my ear.

My eyes flickered open and I could see people grabbing bags and possessions.

"What we're here?!" I croaked, my voice still recovering from hours of sleep.

"You've been out for 9 hours," he informed me, taking my hand and lifting me off of the chair.

9 hours and I couldn't even remember what I dreamt about. All I remember is being wrapped in his lovely russet arms.

"Wow," I muttered in amazement before following him off of the stuffy plane.

We flew through airport checks and were soon in a taxi on our way back to.
News would have been around and I hope they didn't get too mad I was gone. I mean come on how bad could it be?-I left a note!

Everything felt so right but so wrong. Jacob had to face his trial before the elders in less than 24 hours. And what was going to happen next. Yes we were together now but me and my family couldn't move back to Forks. What would happen next?

The road narrowed behind us as we edged closer to the bay. We were going to have to swim the rest of the way. At its latest it would probably take us 15-20 minutes as the island was close to the coasts.

Pushing all thoughts away from my mind, I tried to focus on the last ten minutes of the car ride. All I could do was try and think about how I could make sure Iake and Jake didn't bump into eachother.

We were only going back to get a some clothes for me and bare essentials. It was mere hope that we wouldn't bump into anyone.

The car came to a halt and I was out into the fresh breeze so quickly I could have given away my cover.

"Thank you!" I smiled at the suspicious driver while Jacob payed him an extra 5 to keep quiet about my abnormal speed.

We waited until the taxi had driven around a corner and was out of sight to start removing our clothes. Underneath I was in the typical garments so I kept my sports bra and shorts on. Jacob however had stripped down to the point where he was just in his briefs. I tried not to look-we hadn't been that intimate yet.

My cheeks flushed as I couldn't help but stare at his glistening pack. It took me five minutes to fully take in his gorgeous appearance. He had such fixed boulder arms and his copper skin glistened against the heating sun. I could melt; and not because of the hot climate.

Diving into the clear waters, Jacob swam beside me and I entwined my hand in his as we swam together beneath the calm surface. At times I would let go of him and zoom ahead just to make him annoyed and thus made me laugh. Not literally. I didn't want to drown.

Before we boarded the shore, I peaked my head above the surface to see the empty beach and crawled out onto the sand, Jacob beside me. Beside me. It sounded so right.

I ushered him up to the house, although we had to climb through my window so no one would catch us here. My father would never have let me go to Jacobs trial so it's best if I keep it to myself until after, if there is one.

"Shhhhh," I hissed at Jacob as he stepped on a creaky floorboard.

3rd floorboard row 4 was always a creaky one. I had time to inspect these things seeing as I spent quite a lot of time in here during my restoration.

He walked to my drawers and started collecting clothes and stuffing them in the empty sports bag I'd left beside my temporary wardrobe. Whereas I was grabbing things from the bathroom.

Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Deodarant, Floss. Am I forgetting anything. No. I haven't got time to forget anything.

"Are you ready?" I asked him anxiously as he zipped the bag up.

"If you are then I am too" he replied, following me out of the open window.

I've never moved so fast in my life. We had to get there before dawn tomorrow or else Jacob would get sanctioned without plead.

The fact that Jacob was so calm about it frustrated me even more. I had no idea what they'd do to him.

Imprisonment? Pain? Death?

There were too many possibilities and that worried me-a lot.

"Let's take the cliff route," I ordered, pulling him away from the sea.

"Why?" He asked in a confused tone.

His left eyebrow furrowing as cutely as it always did when he was in a skeptical mood.

"It'll get us to the airport without having to find some tunnel way in and it'll be quicker because we won't have to go up to the surface for air." I explained, grabbing his hand and bolting us up on the surrounding cliffs.

The leaves rustled as I ran.

"Wait," I yelled towards Jacob as I stopped my length.

"What's wrong," he asked a hint of worry in his voice.

Somebody else was here. I couldn't smell it but I could hear. Jacob must have thought it was me.

"Someone else is here and they aren't from Ticuna, I need you to change and run as fast as you can Jacob." I whispered into his ear and lay a soft peck on his lips to make it look like I'd said something normal.

I turned away from him and slowly counted to three.

A loud rip sounded behind me and I started sprinting through the woods once again, Jacobs shredded clothes showering over me. The auburn wolf I loved ever so much appeared beside me, loping through the fallen leaves.

Whoever was there stalked closely behind us. I could hear their heavy breath. A loud snarl sound behind me as the predator drew closer. Jacob whined as his long tail was snatched and he held back.

I glanced back to see a tall thin framed man trying to contain Jacobs rash retaliation. In anger, I threw him across the woods and he squashed against a tree bark.

Although I heard a gut-wrenching cracking of bones. He was not like my family of blood-drinking Cullens. He had living bones. What was he? Who was he?

I left my taunting glare and hissed at the unknown creature before I took a cut through the hedges of the trees, Jacob close behind me.

Once we had arrived behind the large airport, I gave Jacob time to transform and I threw him the extra clothes I'd hidden inside my pack. Without looking at him of course!

"Come on I'm going to have to look if you take this long," I complained, glancing at my watch and remembering the plane time.

"Look Nessy you know I don't mind," he smirked with his valiant tease.

"I'm warning you Jacob!" I reminded him not to use his sex appealed nature around me.

"It's fine-I'm done anyway you missed out!" He laughed wrapping his arms around my waist as he took me into the airport.

The plane was calm and serene. Which was surprising since we faced life and death in less that 2 hours. Although it was explainable. Spending your hours calm quiet and loved. As they may well be your last.
