CHARLIE'S POV:: I knew it. I knew she was leaving. Was it something I did or something I said? Was it because we nearly kissed this afternoon? I didn't know what it was but I knew that I didn't want her to leave. Not after her almost leaving the Earth earlier this month. I had to chase after her. She snuck out of her room and outside so I followed her.

"Don't go!" She turned around so fast I thought she'd fall over with the giant bag on her back.

"Why not?" She asked. I quickly walked over to her.

"You want a reason?" I pushed her hair away from her face and kissed her. She tasted like cherry lip gloss as she kissed me back. A few moments later, we broke apart. She backed away a couple inches from me then whispered, "I'm sorry but I have to go." She leaned in and kissed my cheek before running off again. I touched my cheek and watched her run off.

EMMA'S POV:: Charlie kissed me and I kissed him! He kissed me! The thought of the night before ran through my mind as the plane flew over New York City in the early morning light. I had tried to figure out why he liked me but that only brought me back to Mr. Walker and tears to my eyes. I was crying silently until the woman next to me woke up. I had spent the beginning of the flight analyzing her and remembering her. She had crazy curly strawberry blonde hair, freckles and talked with a slight southern accent.

"Sugar, why are you crying?" she asked me. I wiped my eyes.

"I was thinking about the fight I had with my family," I sniffled and wiped my nose.

"Well you running away?" I nodded and she looked up for a moment. "Sugar, that's no way to face you problems. Let me tell you a story," and boy did she tell a story. It was about her younger years but they sounded more like mine than anything.

"You had a younger life like mine is like!" She laughed a little then patted my knee.

"Hun, I don't want you to turn out like me. I'm running away from the man who I love dearly just because I am afraid he won't love me anymore if he marries me."

"Then I'm already like you," and I told her my story, starting with getting put with the Walkers and ended at last nights kiss.

"Well, I guess I don't have much advice to tell you other than follow your heart. In fact, you've inspired me." She smiled at me and held out her hand. "By the way, sugar, the name's Glinda as in Glinda the good witch." I laughed and shook her hand.

"Mine's Emma." After that, Glinda fell back asleep until we were landing.

"Maybe I'll see you around, kid. Be good now," Glinda called once we got off the plane. I turned around and waved bye to her.

CHARLIE'S POV:: "Emma! Emma!" My mum had been yelling her name around the house since she found out that she wasn't in her bed. "Emma!?"

"Mum, she's gone. She ran away." My voice cracked and tears quickly welled up in my eyes but I quickly wiped them away.

"Why would she do that?"

"She can't accept the fact that someone could ever love her," I told her then I began to cry the type of childish, miss your mother cry. Mum cradled me in her arms as I cried and rubbed my back as if I was five and crying again but I wasn't ashamed. I had lost the one thing that meant more to me than any job or diamond. "I need to go after her. Please!" I pleaded. Mum sighed and rested her head on the top of mine and rubbed circles on my back until I had calmed down.

"We will go after her but once you're down with shooting next month." I wiped my eyes then nodded and unhappily agreed.
