Empty. For the past five years all I've felt is emptiness. I searched for my mate everywhere but as the years came I slowly lost hope. As the Alpha of my pack I had to start to thinking about my responsibilities to my pack. Not only did I suffer but so did my pack. Without my Luna, our Luna, we were not complete. We were half a pack, half a family which brings me back to today. Today is the most inportant day for both me and my pack. Today I am to claim my new Luna. Through the years I suffered so much, the pain, the anger, the frustrations but I was not alone. Yes I had my pack with me every step of the way but I could never thank my best friend Elaine. She stood by me through all my hardships and I later realised how despite my troubles she fought alongside me and my pack. She was adored by both my parents and my pack. And today, is a new day for new beginnings and one that not only for me but for my pack.

I was brought back to reality when I heard someone clear their throat. I looked up to see Elaine gazing at me intensely. "Dan what's wrong?" She asked. "Huh?..oh uhm nothing Lainey I'm just thinking about my past and our future" I said with a smile on my face. "Well..." she spoke as she came towards me and wrapping her hands around my neck "I'm very thankful and happy you gave me a chance..you gave us a chance. Thank you" as she said that I couldn't help but smile. While I stuck in the moment I didn't hear her ask "hmmm?" "Danny I asked if you're ready?" Realising we were gonna be late to our ceremony I quickly nodded my head and took her hand in mine.

(A/N I've read heaps of were stories but I still can't write my ow mating shizz so soz buh we're gonna have to skip)....

After the ceremony, we headed up to our room and from there we completed the mating process. Although I didn't feel complete, I was somehow satisfied with my life and the direction it was now heading.
