For the past few days all I could do was get ready. Every training session I had I worked extra hard and pushed myself to get better and to be ready. I haven't told Raven anything and I think I never will. I haven't also spoken to Danny after last week, to get all my feelings out there felt so amazing and now I feel great. I'd be lying if I didn't wish he was here with me, supporting and helping me but no. I have to do it alone.

Today is the last day I have with my daughter before the battle and I honestly haven't felt so scared for her than I ever have before. Today we'll be going out to the park with Aiden just to feed ducks and have fun. I was waiting by the car when I heard someone speak up from behind me. " You ever gonna tell her?" I looked over my shoulder to see Aid all ready and I said "It's for the best Aid, this way it'll be easier. So you all set to go?" "Yup Mommy we are!!" Said my daughter for her uncle Aiden. I smiled at her and helped her into her seat while I took the front seat and Aid drove.

"Mommy what goes up and never comes down?" " I don't know baby. What does?" "Your age mommy!!" She giggled. I looked to the back to see her giggling and smiling. Goodness I'm going to miss her. Once we got to the park Raven was already out the door. "Careful Ray or else you'll fall" I yelled out "It's okay mommy I'm a big girl now" hearing my daughter say that brought tears to my eyes. I watched her skip across to where the ducks were at. "Maddie have you told Alpha Daniel what's happening?" I didn't bother looking at Aid instead I shook my head no and started to walk towards my daughter.

As the sun was setting slowly I watched my daughter and her uncle fool around with each other and I felt okay. "Raven, baby come here I need to talk to you." Slowly making her way to me I sat her down on my lap. "Baby, Mommy is going to be leaving tomorrow. I want you to stay with your daddy for a while okay?" Looking up at me I could see he confusion in her eyes and I couldn't bring myself to lie to her. "Mommy may be going for a while baby, she needs to do something very important for you and Daddy, and Uncle Aid and everyone. I need you to be strong okay? And if ever anything happens always remember Mommy loves you Always have" "Always will" Raven finished off. I wiped the tears of our faces and packed our things.

On our way back home I heard my daughter whisper "Don't leave me Mommy" but I knew that there was nothing I could do.

That night I stayed with Raven just staring and memorizing every little feature of her face. I soon fell asleep to he slow bearing of her heart.

"Mommy wakey wakey, I need to get ready to go to Daddy." I was woken up by jumpings on my bed and a little voice. Opening one eye I could see Ray jumping up and down on my bed. "Okay baby go get ready now, mommy will go and fix breakfast okay?" "Yes mommy!!" And off she went.

Today was the day. And never have I been so scared in my entire life. Looking at the beauty in front of me I couldn't help the tears that left my eyes as I thought of all the things I'll be missing in her life if I didn't survive. I felt little fingers on my face and later realised it was my little angel wiping my tears away. I looked up at her and smiled "You ready?" She nodded her head at me and off we went. Coming towards the car I saw Aiden already waiting for us. "Hi my baby Girls, you ready Ray?" Leave it to Aid to lighten up the mood. "Yes Uncle Aid let's go see my daddy!"

Arriving at pack house I could see Danny already waiting outside. As soon as we parked the car out flew Raven screaming "DADDY!" Watching my daughter and her father was beautiful. I couldn't help the tears that streamed down my face when Lainey walked out and they were all in a group hug. "She'll be okay Maddie" Aiden whispered in my ear. "I don't want to leave Aid, it hurts" I whimpered. Danny must've heard me when his head snapped my way. "Are you okay Madison?" He said my whole name. He doesn't usually do that unless..I knew it. I didn't trust my voice so I nodded my head. "Why don't you all come inside" Elana said. "No I uhm need to leave. I've got things to do." I looked over to my daughter and said "Raven come here." She walked her way to me. "I want you to be good now, always remember Mommy loves you d-don't ever forget that you hear me?" "Yes mommy, I love you too." I hugged my daughter for the last time and walked her up to her father. I reached Danny and I pulled him for a hug. "Look after our daughter Danny. I love you both. And also look after your Luna. You both deserve all the happiness in the world. Goodbye Daniel" I said with a strong voice and I pulled away. I went over to Elana and hugged her as well. "Thank you for everything, look after them" I pulled back and headed towards the car with Aiden right behind me. I turned around for one final glimpse. What I saw made my decision all worth it. With one final wave I hopped in the car looking ahead at the War I'm about to face. This is for my family.
