Waking up, I felt extremely happy for some unexplained reason. Looking to my side I found that Lainey wasn't in bed so I got up and went to get ready. After getting ready to head down I was mind linked by a pack warrior saying his guests have arrived and will meet us at the pack house after breakfast. For some unkown reason I was really looking forward to seeing them.

Arriving at the dinning room, I was created by my pack members and I looked to see my Luna was already seated and was talking to my mother. I made my way to them and I was greeted by a loving smile from Lainey. "Good Morning Danny!" She piped and so did ny mother "Why how nice of you to finally join us" she simply said trying to sound serious but you could tell her playfulness. I rolled my eyes at that and sat down waiting to eat.

After eating I got up and said my goodbyes to everyone and hugging my mother. As I was about to leave, Elaine came up to me "Hey babe, I heard we've got guests arriving soon. Can I be there with you seeing how I'm now your Luna and we need to adress them togeher?" She asked. Thinking about what she said I couldn't help but feel proud of her eagerness to be there by my side. If only Mad- No! I need to stop. I need to stop dwelling in the past. With much determination I nodded my head and we walked to my office side by side.

While waiting I flipped  through some papers I needed to sort through when the most amazing smell I could never forget hit me. The smell of pineapples and mangoes. It was getting really strong and I can feel my wolf pace in me. Before I knew it my door opened revealing Aiden and behind him I saw someone. Standing up I waited for them to come in and as they did I felt my world topple as I saw her. 'It's her!' My wolf screamed in joy. As he said that she finally lifted her head and I eyes met. She still looked like my innocent mate. Questions were now buzzing in my head as to what happened to her and where she was. Before I could even ask I was interrupted by Lainey "Maddie? Is that you?" She asked hesitantly. I saw her look at Elaine and bowed her head "Yes Luna" For some reason I felt guilty and angry at how she adressing Elaine Luna when that could've been her. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard tiny feet paddling in the floor and I heard her "Mommy I'm he-" I looked down to see the most cutest little angel in the world staring at me with those big grey blue eyes that mirrored mine. Before I knew it she screamed "DADDY!!!!" In a flash I landed on the floor and felt her little figure hugging me so tightly. We must've been on the floor for a while when I felt her being lifted off me and I growled at whoever it was that took my angel from till I was met with her brown eyes. Bowing her head down she spoke "Apologies Alpha. I'm yet to-" I cut her off feeling angry at her "Stop acting formal with me Maddie, it's Danny" I very much wanted to hear her say my name but no "Sorry but I'll rather call you Alpha" knowng how stubborn she is I gave up and went back to sit down on my chair.

As I did, Elaine came and sat down next to me. Looking up I noticed the hurt that flashed through Maddie's eyes but she soon masked it with a plain look. "As you can see this is Maddison Rivers and her daughter Raven. They'll be living with me for 3 weeks for reasons that I would rather not discuss Alpha Daniel" I felt my self angry at the thought of my mate and her daughter at living with him. 'It's all your fault! You don't have a right to be angry! Your Luna is right next to you!' I shut him out as his words hit me hard.

"Alpha Daniel, I'm very sorry but can we talk privately" Maddie said. Needing more from her I nodded and looked at my Luna. She knew what I had to do and I was glad she understood me. As she got up she leaned down and placed a small kiss on my lips. Hearing a whimper I pulled away confused to notice it came from Maddie. Seeing this made my heart break in two but I had to. After they left, I was left with Maddie and hef daughter Raven who kept looking at me with a wide grin on her face. "Alpha.." she started but with me so annoyed at her formalities I cut her off with a growl but she continued. "I'm sorry for this unannounced visit. I was planning on never telling you this or even coming to you seeing how happy you are" she whispered the last part. I got off my seat and was walking towards her when she held her hand up. "Please Alpha, I need to tell you something". Before she could angel spoke "Hi Daddy! I missed you sooo much! Mommy always told me you were away on a bwusiness meeting. Are you back now? She spoke as she made her towards me and motioned for me to pick her up. Looking at Maddiso  I must've been so confused because she finally said "Hey baby, why don't you go find Uncle Aide okay?" She nodded at her mother and looked me before leaving she hugged me so tightly like I was going to leave her and off she went.

Finally it was just us two now. Looking at her I was about to speak when she beat me to it "My apologies Alpha, as you can see, Raven is..." she inhaled slowly.."your daughter" Hearing that made me so happy. But I still needed to know why I haven't heard of this before. I mean my daughter looked around 5 years and I've missed out on so much. "Why didn't you tell me this before! I missed her birth, her life, her first steps! WHY!" I yelled getting worked up. "IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU WEREN'T THERE!! YOU LEFT ME AND I HAD TO GO THROUGH IT ALL ALONE!! I needed you but no. Here yoi are with an amazing pack and a loving Luna! I'm sorry you missed out on her life but I waited and you never came. I now see why. She's good for you Danny, I hope your finally happy. And don't worry I brought Raven so she could get to finally know her father. If anything ever happens to m-" she stops herself early. I was about to ask what she meant but she turned around to leave and as she did I heard her whisper "I'm happy for you Alpha Daniel, Raven will be here tomorrow so you get to know your daughter" then she left.

I slumped down on my chair feeling all kinds of emotions but the strongest was the anger I had for myself. She went through it all alone. I looked for her. The moon Goddess knows how much I needed her and now that I've found her..its all just so..argh I need a run!
