I stare at the 8 year old girl with strawberry blond hair and cute freckles sitting in my lap. I look to my side to see my 13 year old son, Jaden, sharing popcorn with his twin sister Katrina while watching the new movie Man Of Steel. I look to my other side to see my beautiful 16 year old daughter Cody with her father, my husband, the best husband in the world, Peter. Sorry Peter, but Superman is SEXY!!!!!!
After the movie is over its about 10 pm. We all start to head out of the movie theatre.
"What did you guys think of the movie?" Peter asks.
"Superman was so hot!" Cody squeals.
Peter chuckles. "How about you Katrina, Jaden?"
'Awesome!" They shout together.
"Okay come on kids, we gotta get home!" I shout. We all head to the car. We get to the car and drive home. When we get there I give Cody the keys to the house and tell her to get the younger kiddies ready for bed and to leave the door unlocked. After they all get inside and shut the door, I turn to Peter who already is looking at me.
"Peter Parker.....you haven't aged a day." I say, dazed in his eyes as usual.
"You still look hot at 39....Mrs. Parker." He replies.
"4 kids...We did pretty good."
"You did pretty good, your an amazing mother.....and wife." He kisses me softly.
"So much for being spiderman and blah blah blah." I say.
"That was so long ago and your more important than that... I love you, Jo."
"I love you too." I reply kissing him again.
My life really did take a turn for the best. From an anxiety filled teen to having a great life with wonderful kids and my first love being my forever love.
