After the amazing breakfast Dylan put together on the roof top, we tried to use our time wisely. Dylan had said he was only going to be in New York for a week or so, so that meant for sure I only had four more days with him, and I wasn’t planning on wasting a second.

That night we decided to go down to Times Square and see the sights. Even though it was darker out, Dylan decided to put his Mets hat on just for good measure. He told me he wanted tonight to just be laid back, and not have to deal with any celebrity stuff.

We hailed a cab, which dropped us off in the heart of Times Square. We linked hands as soon as we got out of the cab, and never let go.

First we stopped to watch some street performers whose act consisted of dancing along to beats and rhythms made from drumsticks and trash cans. I could tell Dylan really enjoyed the performance as he was bobbing his heads slightly to the beats. From there we took our time going in and out of shops – taking stupid pictures on the cameras in Best Buy, trying to predict the endings of the three dollar romances at Barnes and Nobles, and putting on all the hats at Forever 21.

When we were coming out of Forever 21, I noticed that Dylan had one of their yellow plastic bags in his hand.

“Did you buy something while we were in there? I was next to you practically the whole time…” I said confused.

            He pulled me aside.

“I may have snuck away and got you a little something,” he said.

“Don’t tell me you got me one of the hideous shirts with the cat on it…you know I hate cats,” I said.

            He smiled.

“No. Here, just see for yourself.”

I took the bag from his hand, continuing to look him in the eye as I opened it. As I looked down, I saw a necklace with some sort of pendant on the end. When I pulled it out, I saw that the pendant was actually a big bunch of different colored balloons in pastel colors. I couldn’t help put get the biggest smile on my face.

“I happened to see that when we walked past the jewelry section, so I said I went to the bathroom so I could sneak and get it for you. This way, you will always remember that you introduced me to Up,” he said.

I lept up into his arms and gave him a big hug and an even bigger kiss. I was never really a big fan of PDA, but at this moment I didn’t care.

I finally let go of his lips.

“I said it before and I’ll say it again…I freaking love elevators,” I said, going in for another kiss as he laughed.

We decided to go back to my place for the night again. Dylan had found his movie, The First Time, at Best Buy, and I had never seen it, so I bought it and said we would watch it. He, of course, didn’t want to watch his own movie, but when I told him he wouldn’t be spending time with me then, he changed his mind.

Dylan and I switched places this time – I put in the movie, and he got the popcorn. We snuggled onto the couch and hit play.

I had a hard time not smiling throughout the whole movie. Dylan played the part of Dave flawlessly, and he looked flawless while doing it. I gave Dylan a playful poke when the sex scene came on, causing him to cover his eyes.

“This is why I didn’t want to watch this movie again,” he said.

“Oh come on, look at you all nervous and everything,” I said turning his face back the TV, laughing at his embarrassment.

When the credits rolled, I jumped up off the couch, clapping and cheering, trying to do my best imitation of some crazy fans.

“Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Wasn’t he just amazing?! Uhhhh. I just want him. I want him so bad. I mean if I don’t marry that man. I mean did you see him…and see him shirtless…I mean…”

Dylan pulled me onto his lap, putting his hand across my mouth while he tried to control his own laughter.

“Would you be quiet,” he said. “The neighbors are going to hear you!”

“You mean hear how awesome Dylan O’Brien was in The First Time? But that’s a good thing,” I said, pulling his hand off my mouth.

He gave me a smirk, before he covered his mouth over mine to finally shut me up.

“You are such a goofball, you know that?”

“A goofball that you “dig”,” I replied, adding a smirk of my own, which was covered by his lips yet again.

Dylan’s phone rang as he got back to the hotel room. Assuming it was Haley already, he answered without looking at the caller I.D.

“Well, hey there pretty lady. Long time no talk.”

“Wait…what?! Did I call the wrong number? Dylan, do not tell me you sunk so low you hooked up with some stripper in New York.”

Dylan couldn’t help but laugh. “Oh, hey there Posey.”

“I must be missing out on New York if you are starting to answer the phone like that now. I am assuming your vacation is going pretty well,” Tyler said.

“Well…but probably better described as amazing,” he said thinking back to his last two days with Haley.

“You might as well tell me who is making them so amazing since you blew your cover.”

Dylan went on to explain Haley – from the moment they met and what they had done the past two days.

“Tyler, I am telling you. There is something about her.”

“And I’m sure there is buddy, but what are you going to do when you have to come back to Los Angeles,” Tyler asked.

            “We’ll make it work.”

“But will you? You realize that is two opposite sides of the country…”

“Well I want to make it work, and I will find a way,” Dylan responded.

“Well, I am happy for you bro and I hope things work out. I have to get going though. Have a party to go to. Take care and I’ll see you soon.”

“Alright. Talk to you later, Posey.”

After hitting “end” on his phone, Dylan sat on the big king size bed and let his thoughts wander. He had been having so much fun being with Haley that he forgot that he would be gone in four or five days. He could extend his vacation if he wanted to, but he knew  he need to get back to L.A.. What would they do though? How would he be able to still see her? He didn’t have the time to fly back and forth and Skype was never the same. He didn’t want to loose Haley – he knew that much. But how would he make the relationship last?
