The truth

*Raven's POV*

I was crying uncontrollably.

I was sick of people talking me down.

If Jim had a good reason for not wanting me to move in, I would understand.

But I don't understand.

He won't talk to me.

The only thing that comes out of his mouth is just another insulting word.

Jim Root the guitarist.

I scoff at that. It's more like 'Jim Root the cold-hearted guitarist.'

I used to look up to Jim before I met him.

He seemed a tad nicer than he is now in boring interviews!

I just wanted a family.

That's all I asked for.

And he acts like I'm some spoiled little brat with everything I could ever want!

After my dad died, I never got what I wanted. I couldn't just say the word and it would be mine.

Hell no!

I never got what I wanted!

Half the stuff I owned was from Cam!

Jim had no right to be like that towards me.

"Why do you hate me?" I asked him.

His eyes grew side when I said that.

"W-what?"

I sniffed and wiped my years with my jacket sleeve. "I said, why do you hate me? What did I do?"

Jim said nothing.

Then, after minutes of uncomfortable silence, he exhaled, then spoke. "You remind me of my daughter." He said looking directly at me.

Then he looked back towards the road, and pulled over.

I looked to see where we were.

We were parked near a small cafe.

Jim got out of the car, so I did too.

I was beyond confused now.

'Why are we here?' I asked myself.

I walked up to Jim, but kept my distance.

But I guess Jim didn't want me to because he wrapped an arm securaly around my shoulder and opened the door for me.

Once we were inside, he ushered me to sit down.

We were sitting at a small two person table.

Jim sat down.

I looked at him curiously.

"Why are we here?" My voice croaked.

He exhaled again. "I-I can explain." He said softly, looking me straight in the eyes.

I nodded for him to keep going.

He ran his fingures through his long hair.

"It happened a few years ago."
