When we got home, I didn't realize how long we were gone, because I was greeted by a worried Corey saying "Where the hell were you guys?"

"We went to the cafe after getting guitar strings." I explained casually.

Then Corey smiled. "Oh, okay." And then walked back towards the living room, then turned back to me. "Oh I need to talk to you Raven." Corey said.

I nodded and we went to the kitchen and sat down.

"So," Corey started, "We need to talk about school."

I groaned.

I completely forgot about school!

The night I went to the concert was a Saturday.

So I've already missed two weeks of school.

Great.

"Anyways," Corey continued, "I was looking at schools while you and Jim were gone, and I found a decent middle school not far from here." He explained.

"Alright. When do I start school?" I asked.

"In two days. Sorry for the short notice Raven."

No it's fine. Thank you for doing that Corey." I said while grinning.

"Alright." He clapped his hands together, "I guess we can go shopping for your school stuff tommorrow then."

"Okay." I agreed.

Then Corey leaned in.

"How was it with Jim?"

I shrugged, "It wasn't too bad actually. We sorted some stuff out while we were at the cafe."

Corey nodded. "Well, if there's a problem, you can tell me."

"Dude. You're acting like Jim's a serial killer." I joked.

"I know, but I mean in general. If you ever need anything, just tell me."

I nodded. "Thank you Corey."

"Let's watch a movie." Joey suggested from the living room.

Everyone agreed, and then started arguing over what movie we should watch.

"Transformers!" Said Mick.

"Pirates of the Caribbean!" Came Chris.

"TWILIGHT!" Sid boomed.

Everyone looked at him.

"Sid," I said, "What is wrong with you?"

Then everyone started laughing really hard.

"Its a good movie." Sid said, trying to sound offended.

"Whatever you say Sid." Jim said.

"What do you wanna watch Raven?" Corey asked.

I shrugged. "Um...either The Crow or The Shining." I suggested.

Those were by far my favorite movies.

Then Craig sat up to give me a high-five. "Good pick." He whispered.

"What the hell is 'The Crow?'" Sid asked using air quotes.

I sighed. "Sid, sometimes I worry about you man." I said shaking my head.

We decided on watching The Crow because Sid said The Shining was too scary.

Before the movie started playing I said to Sid, "This movie is probably the best movie you'll ever see."

During the movie, my eyelids were getting heavy and I was starting to fall asleep.

"You tired?" Corey came from beside me.

I nodded.

"Let's put you to bed." Corey said picking me up and swinging me over his shoulder.

When we got to my room, Corey lightly placed me on my bed, and tucked me in.

"Goodnight Raven." Corey said tucking a strand of my red hair behind my ear.

I smiled.

"Goodnight Dad."
