The decision

Stephanie's POV:

I had only closed my eyes for a few minutes, when Ben came busting through the doors.

" Guys"

" What?" Ryan asked.

I opened my eyes and found the I had somehow moved to Andy's lap.

I looked up at him and quickly moved away, " Sorry", I whispered.

" It's ok" he said smiling at me.

I looked down and saw that my fings have become intertwined with his. Instead of making a big deal, I just smiled at it and lisened to what Ben had to day.

" Guys, rehearsal is called off and they need both Stephanie's down on stage" Ben told us.

I stood up, and looking at myself in the mirror and I looked like a complete mess. I pulled my blonde hair out of the ponytail and pulled right but into a tight pony. I looked at everyone around me, they all smiled back at me.

" Well here goes nothing" I walked out of the room, but quickly popped my head back in , " You are going to wait for me... right?" I didn't want to be left and then have no way to get home.

" Of, course we will wait for you, bye the car." Ryan tells me putting some pep in his voice. I know he is just trying to raise the mood, but its not working so well.

" Thanks"

I start walking down the flights of stairs and my hands start to get sweady, what if they tell me that this other Stephanie is really playing Katherine in the show. What will happen to me?

I can't go back home, dad will beat me and just remind me that I was wrong, and he is always right. What will Amelia say? She would be so upset, and what would happen to her?

We don't have to the money to send her to any school at the moment. Calm down Stephanie, you're going to be ok, just go on stage and watch what happens. I laugh out loud, I just used a newsie reference.

I get to the stage, and I walk out trying to look as confident as I can. I saw that Stephanie was already sitting there.

" Stephanie, I'm so glad you are here today, look... um you may want to sit down" Jeff tells me, he obviously can see that I was completely terrified and nervous because he told us, " don't panic just yet, we have good news and bad news."

I took a deep breath, I just knew that I was going to get cut. But thank God, those were not the next words out of his mouth.

" So, we got your names wrong, and we accidently sent the email to both of yall."

I looked over at the other Stephanie, she just sat there staring at Jeff, waiting him to continue.

" So" he continued, rubbing his hands together nervously, " For the next week, you will be competing for the role, and at any moment this week, we could end it and email one of y'all,and just give one of yall the role. We have already started to take notes, and we are always watching, to see how yall fit in the cast, and your weaknesses, and strengths. So I suggest that you are always giving out 110%."

Kara now stands up, " Tomorrow we will be singing and doing a cold run of some scenes."

Jeff stands by Kara, " You are both to go home now, and get some sleep,and get ready for the week."

I walk out and I took a while, trying to let everything just sink into my head. I got to the car, I got inside, only Ben, Nico, and Andy were in the car.

" where are the rest of the?" I asked getting into the back seat.

" The went with Albano, because he was getting Starbucks" Ben tells me.
